What makes Secrets of Elder Care an expert on elderly issues?

We have taken care of three of our elders, our Mom, our Dad, and our Aunt for a period of 4 years.  We began our journey with no knowledge and have our experiences to draw upon.  We would like to pass on our information to you.


Are you a doctor or other health care provider?

No we are not doctors or any other health care providers.  We are just the children of 2 elderly parents who both had strokes and we refused to place them in a nursing home.


Are you affiliated with any companies?

We are affiliated with a few Network Marketing companies, Arbonne International, Sun Rider, and Body Wise.  We use some of their products on our elder.  Our intention with this site is not to market any of these companies’ products.  If you like their products you are free to purchase them from any consultant/distributor or from their websites.  We joined the companies to receive the products at a discount.

Why do you recommend products?

We recommend products that we have found work well on our elder.  You are free to purchase any products from any vendor or company.  We have listed products that we have tried and work for us.


Do you make any referrals for other cities?

No.  We have found the companies listed on the Houston Area Referrals page and want to pass on the information to people in our area.  We have not used or tried every possible company in our area and do not mean to exclude any company or imply that any other company does not provide good service.  We are only listing companies we have personally used and like their service.
