At the age of 16, I started working. My parents had always owned a business, so I grew up in a business-oriented family. I had helped out before turning 16, but that was when I truly became independent as life began to change.

At 16, I fell in love with my childhood sweetheart, who is now my husband. Together, we embarked on our own journey, leaving home and struggling from job to job in different sectors while trying to make ends meet. We faced challenges in paying rent and buying food, and at times, we almost gave up.

We got married at 18 with our family’s consent. However, you never know when people might turn their backs on you. Despite this uncertainty, we always knew what we wanted to achieve and where we wanted to go, even though we didn’t know how to get there. Over time, we learned that if you truly desire something, you will find a way.

To make some extra money at 19, I started selling cupcakes in the local city center. I designed teddy frames, sold them online, and eventually found a decent job working for Mercedes-Benz. At that time, I didn’t have a driver’s license and couldn’t afford the tests, but I dreamed of owning a car. I would watch others drive and imagine myself walking into a showroom, ready to pay for my own. I made a promise to myself and my husband that one day, I would own a Mercedes, which led me to leave that job because I realized my time was worth more than an hourly wage.

In 2022, I began selling clothing online on TikTok with a £50 investment. I didn’t know how to source stock, but as orders started coming in, I figured it all out over time. Customers were happy to wait, which gave me the time I needed to deliver their items.

As of today, my business has over 215,000 followers and more than 3.4 million likes. I own my own cash-paid Mercedes-Benz, the latest model, fully equipped with everything I ever wanted. I have savings behind me and have traveled most of the world running my business.

I remember cutting out pictures and sticking them on the wall, using them as phone wallpapers, and placing them on book covers. Now, as I sit here grateful for what I’ve achieved, I want to share this because anything is possible. The sky is the limit—don’t let anyone dim your shine.
