About a year ago, I met my girlfriend. We knew each other quite well and were involved in a lot of clubs together. Slowly and surely, we fell in love with each other. After a few months together, my girlfriend got a job teaching in another country. I was delighted for her as it was a dream of hers, yet doubt crept into my mind. How could we make it work? How would we get through it? Many other questions like that appeared in my mind.

A few weeks after she moved, she contacted me to tell me that she felt she was being held back and that I was holding myself back as well. I was stunned when she told me. I had no idea what to say. She also said that she may never return home. I was in despair. I never handle breakups well, and for a few days after, I felt myself hitting rock bottom.

Then my brother told me about a book he read called The Secret. So I gave it a read. After three chapters, I felt my life changing inside of me. Happiness was flowing out of me, and love was in my heart again. By the time I had finished reading the book, my outlook on life was completely different from when I began reading it.

I decided to sit down and make a list of everything I wanted in life, and number one on that list was that I wanted my girlfriend back. For days and days, I was visualizing my future with her, visualizing us being back together, visualizing meeting her at the airport. My heart was and is so full of love for this woman that I knew my love for her would overcome her fears.

To make a long story short, my true love has returned to me. I never stopped believing, and my faith never wavered, and all my actions were positive. I thank the Universe every day for her, and I thank the Universe every day for “The Secret”. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
