I had quite a dry spell. For the past ten years, I focused entirely on work and rarely socialized during my free time. Now, I’m on vacation and have come to the conclusion that I want to go on at least one serious date while I’m here. I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about this.

I read a book about communication, visualized different ideas for a date, and generally allowed myself to feel excited about the possibilities. A couple of days ago, I went out with some friends, and we met some nice people at a cozy little bar. We had a wonderful time together, and at the end of the night, one of the people we met wanted to introduce me to a friend of hers. So now, I’m going to have a blind date in a couple of days!

It’s like a wish fulfilled, and in a way I never even imagined. This experience is especially remarkable for me because I can’t remember ever manifesting something I truly wanted so easily. I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity, and it has been uplifting my mood day by day.
