A few years ago, I ended up with jury duty, my first ever. With no car, I relied on public transportation. With a limited amount of money, just enough for the bus ride to and back, I headed out on my first day.

When court was dismissed that day, I got out and walked to the bus stop. I wasn’t familiar with this part of the city. It didn’t help that I hadn’t been paying attention enough to my surroundings to realize that this didn’t look exactly like where I had been dropped off that morning. Well, I climbed aboard the bus, believing I was finally on my way home and could finally eat something.

As streets and buildings passed by, I finally noticed that I had taken the wrong bus. I got off at the next stop. It was getting late, and I had no more money for the bus fare. It was hot, and I was tired.

Knowing I had better get moving because it would be a bit of a long walk back to where I started, I got moving. After a while, I kept wishing I would somehow find enough money to take the right bus home this time.

After almost an hour of walking, I passed by the local college, and there on the floor was a dollar bill. My mood immediately lifted, and I had a permanent smile on my face as I continued on my way. I still kept wishing for life to put .50 cents on my path.

I returned to the court building without finding any more money lying on the ground, but I continued hoping. I was still a good distance away, but I was walking down familiar streets, so I knew at least I would be home in an hour or so.

Well, just as I reached the corner of one of the streets, my mom’s truck pulled up at that exact moment. She had gotten off work early that day and was on her way to drop off a co-worker of hers. I thanked life then and there for being so kind. Even if it wasn’t the bus, I was happy. And I had received money I could use towards the next day’s bus fare. This was before I even heard about The Secret.

Now, I didn’t win in the end because I ended up putting the wrong card down at the last minute because I wasn’t paying attention, but I did get that perfect winning hand!

I applied it again on a product that I really had to have before a specific date. It was out of stock and on backorder. I had contacted the site earlier to check on the status of my order, and they told me that they wouldn’t be getting it anytime soon. So, with nothing else to do, I searched for it elsewhere. I found it and purchased it. However, it was also supposed to be delivered after the date I needed it, so I was stressed.

However, I kept picturing and telling myself that it would ship out that same day. And it did. Not only that, but I received an email about an hour later informing me that my first order, which was supposed to be on backorder, had shipped out. Now, this was the same order that I had been told wasn’t going to be available soon. And now, suddenly, I find out that it is, in fact, on its way to me. Both orders got delivered ahead of the delivery date they were supposed to arrive on.

Believe in and apply The Secret to your life. It worked for me, even for the smallest things. Right now, I’m visualizing myself with some important things that I would like to have in my life, like being able to print and sell my own art on merchandise, getting money for college, and even getting a new wardrobe. I have no doubts that I will get it all.
