Lafayette, LaI am a 22 year young professional living her dreams day to day. I am so happy to feel success pouring on me. I have some much gratitude for God, and everyone.
I want to give my thanks to the Universe and my God for the incredible opportunity to share my story and inspire those in need of encouragement. I also want to thank Ms. Rhonda for spreading awareness about the greatest gift of life.
If you’re going through a tough time, this is for you. Not long ago, I was in a difficult place, but now I am thrilled and thankful to say it works! Here’s why:
I recently graduated from college and had been job hunting for about two months. Around a month and a half ago, I went through a breakup that blindsided me. One day everything was great, and the next day, the man I loved disappeared without a word. Despite feeling terrible, I decided to limit my grieving and focus on important matters like finding a job, managing finances, finding a place to live, and getting a car.
I sent out over 30 resumes but received no positive responses for weeks. Realizing I needed a car for work, I shifted my focus from the job hunt and the breakup to finding a car. With almost no money in my account, I tried not to dwell on that and still went to look at cars. However, all the quotes I received required a minimum down payment of $3000, which I couldn’t afford. When I asked my family for help, no one could assist me. I felt desperate because I couldn’t even afford a car to get to work or attend interviews and send out more resumes.
One day I remembered that I had a book called The Magic that I hadn’t finished reading, so I decided to start practicing the exercises in the book.
On the ninth day of practicing “The Magic,” I received a job offer out of the blue from a man I had previously worked for on a temporary basis. I hadn’t even sent him a resume! I accepted the job offer, but I wondered how I would get to work without a car. I asked for a week to arrange for a car. Although I didn’t know how it would happen, I was determined to make it work because I had a job.
As I watched my favorite show, “Friends,” to distract myself from my worries, I saw a commercial for my favorite car with a special offer that required no down payment. I couldn’t believe my luck.
By the 13th day of practicing “The Magic,” I felt optimistic. Even though I didn’t have the car yet, I knew I would get it, and I felt good. I asked someone to take me to the dealership, and as I expressed my gratitude to them, they were almost moved to tears. As the evaluation and paperwork at the dealership progressed, my co-signer didn’t get approved, and I was told that the car wouldn’t be available to me. However, I maintained a positive attitude and thanked the person who delivered the news. As I was leaving, he stopped me and said, “Wait, don’t you have a job and a diploma?” When I confirmed what he said was true, he informed me that I qualified for their graduate financing program and could get the car without a co-signer. As I submitted proof of my job and diploma, the dealership also told me that my first payment was on them! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Today, I am no longer unemployed, I have my favorite car without a down payment, and I no longer dwell on my past relationship. I am grateful for meeting someone similar to my dream man, and I now have the time to focus on my accomplishments and success.
Keep the faith, everyone! When life knocks you down, don’t worry. Keep a positive mindset, and you will achieve positive results! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Thank you so much, and may God bless you!
