Believe!

Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaFrom a cynic to a believer.
First and foremost, I want to express my deepest gratitude to Rhonda Byrne for her incredible books that completely changed my outlook on life. Her teachings transformed me into a believer and filled me with excitement, knowing that life will continue to improve for all believers. I want to thank the Universe and everyone involved in spreading The Secret and its messages worldwide. Without all of you, I wouldn’t be the person I am today. I am a true believer.
Throughout my life, I always felt that there had to be something better out there. I couldn’t accept that this was all there was to life. However, societal norms and parental guidance ingrained the belief in me that many things were too good to be true. I never thought I would be writing this, but here I am.
My parents’ strained relationship led me to make safe choices in life. I ended up with guys who were nice and safe, but never truly excited me. It never felt like enough. I often found myself wishing for the kind of love I saw in movies, believing it was too good to be true.
Then I came across The Secret and The Magic. I vividly recalled reading a testimonial where a girl listed every criterion she wanted in a partner and found her dream guy. Though I never felt fully prepared to do the same, on June 4th, I sat down and listed every quality I desired in my dream partner. I set an intention to the Universe, asking to meet this person. I tried my best to believe that I would indeed meet this amazing person. After making the list, I got busy with other obligations and forgot about it.
In February, I had booked tickets to Phuket for June 20th, planning to go with a friend. We regretted not choosing a weekend date to hang out with other friends who were free from work. However, something incredible happened when I least expected it. I saw a guy staring at me at the airport in Kuala Lumpur, right before our flight to Phuket. He seemed mesmerized, and he had kind eyes. To my surprise, he boarded the same plane to Phuket and sat just two seats ahead of me. He turned and smiled at me, and I smiled back. He was from Australia.
I had a feeling I had never experienced before. Many guys had approached me in the past, but this was different. When we reached Phuket, he handed me a cute card with his name and email, asking me out for a drink. We met for drinks and talked a lot. In just three days, I felt like I had gotten to know him as much as possible and realized he was the one. It turned out that he had already applied for a job in Singapore and was planning to move to Asia by the end of the year. What a coincidence.
We are now staying in touch via email and occasional phone calls. We plan to keep in touch until he moves here. He is making all the necessary plans and arrangements. I am confident that it will work out. We really like each other.
I just wanted to share that the law of attraction works. Believing works. Miracles happen. People do not just randomly meet in movies; it happens in real life, too. You just have to believe.
I have never been happier. I feel like I created him with the list I made, and the Universe brought him into my life as I asked. Despite my initial reluctance about going to Phuket that weekend, if I had not gone, I would not have met him. It was all meant to be.
So my message is simple: just believe. No matter how tough it may seem if you believe, I promise you it will work out.
