God’s Grace And Mercy.

Indianapolis, INI’m currently a real estate investor and philanthropist living in San Diego, CA to work with the homeless.
I am so happy and grateful for my health, strength, and right mind! It was two years ago that I was released from Kaiser Permanente Zion Hospital after recovering from pneumonia, sepsis, and a UTI. The doctors also found cancer in my thymus gland during that stay. Also, during my stay, God put the desire in my heart to never drink again because I did not know how to stop drinking after one or two drinks. I had my last drink on September 17, two years ago. They removed the cancerous thymus gland in May of last year. Last December, I went back to the hospital with a suspected UTI and had a bowel blockage and a pulmonary embolism.
I am also a breast cancer survivor who was diagnosed in April 2016 in Indianapolis, Indiana, shortly after retiring as a court reporter of 23 years.
That was the time when I asked God why he spared my life, and I was suddenly inspired to move from Indianapolis, Indiana, to San Diego, California, to start Averitte House to honor my ancestors and work with homeless veterans, women with children, and the homeless in general.
Averitte House will be headquartered in San Diego, but my goal is to open an Averitte House in every state of the United States. When I pass, my wish is for my niece, Jennifer Allen, to continue my legacy all over the world because I am sure that homelessness is not just a characteristic in the US.
I found out yesterday that the IRS has granted Averitte House nonprofit status effective in July!
Is God good, or is God good?!?! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
