Letting Go.
Submitted by: Neeraj
India ,I am a day dreamer and a believer of life's glory. I am full of hope and always try to live by the power of each moment.
I always scored between 80% and 90% during my school years, which made me feel proud of my good grades. However, after the 6th grade, education became more challenging, and my grades began to decline. I often wondered if I would ever regain my previous honors.
In 10th grade, I set a goal to achieve 90%, but I wasn’t able to reach it. I made the same goal for 11th and 12th grades, but instead of attending coaching classes, I relied on self-study and ended up scoring only 68% to 70%. Eventually, I let go of that goal.
When I started college, I thought there was no need to take my studies too seriously. However, as the yearly exams approached, I remembered my aspiration to achieve 90% one last time. I even wrote it down in my diary. In my first year, I managed to get 85%, but I didn’t stress about it and focused on my studies instead.
In my second year, I enrolled in a two-year technical course at a nearby institute. At that point, my focus was simply on studying and doing my best in both degree programs, without worrying too much about grades. I was content with whatever marks I would receive.
As exam dates approached, I became very concerned about the final exams. On results day, I felt a wave of fear wash over me, uncertain of what to expect after such challenging exams. When I checked my email, it felt like my heart and eyes stopped for a moment.
But guess what? It was a miracle! Not only did I pass, but I also achieved 90% in a challenging exam, regaining my honors once again. This experience showed me that the universe can work wonders at any moment. Thank you for taking the time to read my story, and a very special thanks to Rhonda, ma’am, for sharing this wisdom with us.
