I live in the UK, where you can see many cute squirrels running in the park. They are not afraid of people, and sometimes they even come to you for food! I love them so much, and have been feeding them regularly in a local botanical garden for years.<\/p>\n
I am always trying to pet them after I give them a hazelnut. However, they often don\u2019t want it, so they grab the hazelnut and run away quickly.<\/p>\n
Yesterday I went to feed them again with my partner. It has been a while since we last visited here. I didn\u2019t expect much difference from before. All I thought was that it was so nice to see them again, and they looked so happy and healthy. My partner was the primary source of hazelnuts because he carried more, and I was mainly filming when he fed them. There was one squirrel that always came to me and climbed on me. I felt a connection and naturally tried to pet it after giving her one hazelnut. She allowed it! She was even staying on my leg for more petting. I was so struck. But it also felt so natural.
