I always get a parking space anywhere I go, and my kids are always so shocked every time it happens.<\/p>\n
I could never find a parking space, so I started telling my kids in the car that we always get the best parking spots. I would say, \u201cWe\u2019re going to get a beautiful parking space today,\u201d and they would respond, \u201cYes, Mum!\u201d Their affirmation made my belief feel more real.<\/p>\n
One day, I drove into a car park filled with around 100 cars, with 20 other cars behind me. I kept telling them, \u201cWe are going to get a parking space, just watch!\u201d I feel like I’m demanding it from the universe. No one was finding a space, and my heart was telling me to stop. But I waited for three minutes, and lo and behold, a little old lady in her 80s pulled out of a spot and said, \u201cThere you go, love,\u201d while winking at me. I always wink at my kids, which might seem strange, but it’s true.<\/p>\n
Be careful what you wish for and what you say, as it often comes true.<\/p>\n
