I had been trying to manifest a relationship for years after my first relationship of 10 years ended. My first partner wanted different things than I did, so we both decided to finally move on. One day, I woke up remembering The Secret, so I started practicing the teachings and reading stories about those who manifested relationships. I was going on date after date and coming home in tears. I would obsess over each bad date and mull over the ones that just didn’t feel right. I kept telling myself that if I kept dating, I would eventually meet “the one.”<\/p>\n
One night, as I was scrolling through a dating app for hours and feeling very unhopeful, I realized something: I was taking action and not INSPIRED action. My actions were saying that I didn’t believe the Universe would bring my person to me. I was acting as if I had to do it myself. I immediately closed the app and went to bed after visualizing my dream partner next to me.<\/p>\n
I went on a two week vacation to Maui and stopped using the dating app. I was so blissfully happy in Maui that I completely let go of all expectations in my dating life. I was waiting for my inspired action to come. I continued to visualize my partner. I repeated affirmations in my head that I was already in a happy relationship. It truly felt like I had let go of all resistance on that trip.<\/p>\n
I did have some resistance, knowing that I’m in my mid-30s despite looking like I’m in my 20s. Then, one night, my brother told me that he joined a dating app. He’s in his early 20s, and his first date was with a woman in her mid 30s. For whatever reason, this gave me so much hope, excitement, and inspiration that I decided to re-join the app.<\/p>\n
The first person that I matched with was my now boyfriend. Our first date was on the day I got back from Maui. It was the easiest and happiest date I had ever been on. It was so easy, like breathing. I had full and complete faith that this man really liked me. I knew he was the one. We spent every day together for 3 months straight, and they were by far the best 3 months I had experienced in years. I still catch myself getting teary-eyed in disbelief that I manifested the perfect person for me.\u00a0Things were perfect.<\/p>\n
One night, I opened an old Word document on my laptop called “List,” and I read it. It was the list of qualities in my dream partner that I had created months and months ago. Well, my partner matches every single thing on that list.<\/p>\n
This past weekend, he asked me to be his girlfriend officially, and now we are planning our future together.<\/p>\n
You can do anything! I have manifested everything I’ve ever dreamed of, from my dream salary, perfect health, dream job, dream home, and now my dream partner.<\/p>\n
