I grew up in a very broken household in Buffalo, NY. Mom was an alcoholic, and Dad wasn’t there very often because he was out doing crack and heroin. Bouncing around from foster home to foster home, in and out of juvenile detention, until I met a wonderful foster parent named Margaret Flannery. She was well educated and taught me how to be a responsible person. I didn’t understand it at the time; however, the Universe was showing me what it was like to be nice and kind. Unfortunately, I didn’t understand that at the time, so I left her house to join the Marine Corps.<\/p>\n
While in the Marine Corps, I was in the military police, and I had to deal with a lot of things that tore my mentality apart. I got married to another Marine and had a child, only to be shortly divorced because her fidelity was lacking. We separated, and she used my son against me. Brainwashing his mind and telling him that I was not a good person. So that tore me apart even more.<\/p>\n
After getting out of the military, I became an electrician. Doing trade work is already difficult enough, and having a crappy mentality from the Marine Corps, I drank and did some drugs here and there to “ease the pain.” The first three years were a little tough and a learning experience, but I very quickly respected electricity and wanted to learn.<\/p>\n
The next five years after that, I joined a company that was certified and learned residential and commercial work, making $30 an hour. While working for this company, I began to learn how to network, and in doing so, it brought me back to the first company I had started with. They offered me a salary position at 75k a year, and I took it! Unfortunately, two years into working with this company, our beloved government threw COVID-19 at us and shut everything down.<\/p>\n
I soon had to take care of my mother, and within a year, she passed away in Feb of 2022, which sent me down a dark path of drinking and doing heavy drugs. I would continue doing this for another year until 2023. It got so bad that I tried killing myself.<\/p>\n
I eventually went to a veterans rehab in Bath, New York, which changed my life. I learned the psychology of why people do the things that they do. I also learned a little bit about spirituality and the inner self, which made me want to be a better person.<\/p>\n
