It seems that almost everyone we speak with these days is preoccupied with the future. What\u2019s going to happen in politics? The economy? Public health? The environment? And most importantly, how will it affect our future? Well, the simple fact is you create your own future through the power of intention. Using the power of intention means deliberately thinking thoughts now<\/em> of the future you want. Health, harmony in relationships, happiness, money, stability, peace, creativity, and love will come to you in the future, based on what you think now.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As humans, we have a mind that can discern. We can use our free will to choose<\/em> our thoughts. We have the power to intentionally think and create our entire life with our mind. Every single person is using the power of intention in every moment of their lives, whether they are aware of it or not. Every time you think, you are intending your future life.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Our thoughts are subject to the law of attraction<\/a>, which is an impersonal law that unfailingly matches like<\/em> with like<\/em>. What you think is what you will attract into your life. Think constant thoughts of being in debt, and you will attract more debt. There is no time when this law is not operating, just like gravity. When you understand this magnificent law and how it works, you can begin to use it to your advantage intentionally. You will no longer use it unconsciously to your disadvantage by thinking about what you don\u2019t want. And once you begin to use the power of intention, you set in motion universal forces through the law of attraction<\/a> that will bring people, circumstances, and events to help you create the life of your dreams.<\/p>\n

Intend your dream life in advance<\/h2>\n

Professional surfer Layne Beachley<\/a> was just eight years old when she first set the intention to become world champion. In fact, it took the best part of two decades before she was able to put herself in a position to live her dream. Layne tells the story in Rhonda Byrne<\/a>\u2019s book, HERO<\/a>:<\/p>\n

\n\u201cIt was 2001, and it was the final event of the year. I was in the quarterfinals and I fell on my last wave, which cost me the heat and which potentially cost me the title. I felt like I had let the whole world down, I was so deeply devastated.\u201d\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

 <\/p>\n

At that point in the competition, Layne needed a miracle. Several of her competitors now had an opportunity to overtake her points total and claim the world title if they won the contest that day. But then her miracle appeared in the form of people, circumstances, and events, as she goes on to explain:<\/p>\n

\n\u201cPauline Menczer, the 1993 world champion, walked past me and said, \u201cDon\u2019t worry, we\u2019ve got this covered.\u201d She wanted to see me win that world title. She went on a rampage to demolish the competition, preventing anyone the opportunity to claim the world title. Pauline went on to win the contest, and handed me the world title in the process.\u201d<\/em>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Layne was crowned world champion that day, just as she had intended as a child. In fact, she would win several more titles over the next few years before retiring from professional surfing as a 7x world champion.<\/p>\n

Intend every day and create your future life with the Power of Intention<\/h2>\n

Just like Layne Beachley, you too can direct the universal forces to do your bidding and create your life through the power of intention. With this knowledge, you can change the circumstances around every single subject in your life. It is the same process for everything you want to be, do, or have, and the subject of money is no different.<\/p>\n

Regardless of the state of the economy or your personal finances, you can turn your whole life around sitting right there on your sofa. So, isn\u2019t this the perfect time to powerfully intend the life you want to have in your mind? \u00a0If you have a business that is being affected by a so-called downturn, or you are currently out of work, see your future self jumping for joy, and saying, \u201cThank you, thank you, thank you!” \u00a0Whatever you see in your mind will materialize. So, if you can see your future self jumping for joy in gratitude then your business, your work, and your finances must have turned out well thanks to your intention.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s exactly the same for your health. Most people only think to intend better health when they don\u2019t have it, but you can intend great health at any time. Use the power of intention every single day and see yourself healthy and well. Intend good health for you, intend good health for those close to you, and intend good health for the whole world.<\/p>\n

Another thing you can do is to intend your safe travels every single day. Each time you get into a car, regardless of the distance you\u2019re travelling, remember to take a couple of seconds and see yourself arriving at your destination happy and well. Use the power of universal forces through your intention and create a beautiful, safe journey.<\/p>\n

Intend your whole day with the Power of Intention<\/h2>\n

For a good life, it\u2019s so important to set a positive intention for your whole day. Without it, your day can automatically default to the negative. You can set the power of intention the night before, or as you wake in the morning. Just be sure to set it before you begin your day.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

For Rhonda Byrne<\/a>, the process is quite simple, as she describes in her book, The Secret<\/a>:<\/p>\n

\n\u201cIn the morning, when one foot touches the ground I say, \u201cThank,\u201d and \u201cyou\u201d as my second foot touches the ground. On my way to the bathroom, I say \u201cThank you.\u201d I say and feel \u201cThank you\u201d as I am showering and getting ready. By the time I am ready for the day, I have said \u201cThank you\u201d hundreds of times. I am powerfully creating my day and all that it will contain. I am determining my day with gratitude and intentionally declaring the way I want my day to go, because gratitude attracts more things to be grateful for. \u201d<\/em>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Morning<\/h4>\n

There is no more powerful way to begin your day. You are the creator of your life, and so begin each morning by intentionally creating your day! Start by intending that it is going to be the best day of your life. Then, intend that it is going to be filled with love and joy. Finally, intend that all good is coming to you and everything is going to flow perfectly.<\/p>\n

Daytime<\/h4>\n

During the course of the day, you can maintain your intentions by making sure that you only think about what you want, and focus your mind on what you want. Ask yourself when you\u2019re in conversation with someone, \u2018Am I talking about what I want or what I don\u2019t want?’ \u00a0Ask yourself when you\u2019re listening to the news, \u2018Am I listening to what I want or what I don\u2019t want?\u2019 Staying focused on what you want for most of your day will keep you feeling good, keep you feeling optimistic, and keep you happy. And it will also accelerate the manifestation of anything you want.<\/p>\n

Night<\/h4>\n

Before you fall asleep, you can give heartfelt thanks for the wonderful day you just had (no matter what kind of day you had). In addition, you can take that time to think about the next day, and intend that it is going to be wonderful. Then when you wake in the morning, declare your intentions for the day and give deep thanks as though you have received them. As you do this, you will begin to create your life deliberately. And then you will experience first-hand the power that is within you to create the life you want.<\/p>\n

Make setting intentions a daily habit to determine every day of your life in advance. Set the universal forces ahead of you in everything you do and everywhere you go by thinking and intending the way you want it to go in advance. Then you are creating your life intentionally.<\/p>\n
