So there I was in the Denver airport saying goodbye to my best friend from Maui who now lives there that dropped me off at the airport. A couple weeks before that I moved out of my place in Hawaii to move to LA to pursue my dream of being an action-actor\/stuntman and make some inspiring films to affect a larger audience in the future. I stayed in Denver for two weeks with my buddies (I watched the Secret again 5 times just to get it into my head farther) to just chill out from the stress of moving and just to set myself up for the plunge I was about to take – I had no job, no place to stay or anywhere planned out on renting. I had two bags and a vision, other than that, most of my friends thought I was insane. <\/p>\n
Knowing that the Force of Life is never away, I stepped out of the LA airport towards a pal’s place that I had a two-night limit at since he’s a busy professional. On the point of freaking out on the second day (still no leads where to live), I sat down at a restaurant and ordered some food and intentionally sent gratitude to everything I could think of – a healthy body, good eyes that can see fine, being in a nice place with nice art, being in a place where I have the FREEDOM to even pursue what I want to, etc…well I felt pretty groovy after awhile. A few hours later I get a call from an ad I replied to earlier – it was a place to live! I check it out and my future roommate and I hit it off instantly – same age, taste in music, even same field of interest in the entertainment industry. After I moved in I looked at a piece of paper I wrote an affirmation describing what kind of place I want to live at prior to leaving Hawaii. I nearly had an orgasm in my chest when I looked around and I was living in the EXACT place I wrote out months ago. High ceilings with wood floors, large yard surrounded by nature thats quiet yet convenient. I’ve only been here a month and few days and I’ve already gotten an agent – the ONLY one here that specializes in action-actors, training with a stunt group and having an adventure. <\/p>\n
One more thing that I gotta share that made my jaw drop – after practicing one day with some stunt guys I mentioned “wouldn’t it be cool to spin fire on powerizers (crazy high jump shoe-things)?” they just looked at me like “ooookay psycho”. I got home as my roommate was leaving to pick up his dog from the dog salon a short distance away, so I tagged along for fun. When we got there the owner starts talking to me “so what do you do?” etc. I told him I do martial arts, film stuff, firedancing… “oh really?” he says “I created a performance group called Anti-Gravity, you know, the ones who do crazy stunts on POWERIZERS, and I was just looking for someone that can SPIN FIRE.” This conversation took place an hour after I mentioned what I did to the stuntmen. What are the odds of me meeting this guy who moved from NYC right down the road from me in a living place I affirmed into reality RIGHT AFTER talking about it? I guess the odds are about the same as this Earth had manifesting out of the vacuum of space, now with a bunch of living creatures connected to the global brain called the internet discussing Universal Forces and how to use it in our personal lives. <\/p>\n
If you really think about it, EVERYTHING and EVERY MOMENT is a miracle.
