I finally decided to look at The Secret, which became my saviour on 16 December when my friend told me about it. I watched the trailer and thanked him for it. The next day he sent me the link to the whole movie which I watched every day over and over again. I received an inspired thought of working from home more. I got the insight into coaching, surfed the internet, and booked myself immediately on a Coaching free weekend taster for January 2007. They were giving away 5,000 weekend courses just for the price of the workbooks. I thanked my friend so much. <\/p>\n
I went off to Florida on 29th Dec to see family, friends and do my health business – I had qualified as a 2 Star Platinum which gave me the opportunity to be on stage and attend their leadership Summit. Every other person I met in the business was either a Life or Health Coach.<\/p>\n
New Clients and a new Business Opportunity<\/p>\n
When I came back 11th Jan 2007 within a week I had new clients for Software Training and existing clients booking training all locally out of the blue. I wanted to order The Secret but thought from the websites it would take 4 weeks. I could not wait and got a brainwave, I had bought an iPod in the USA so went on iTunes and downloaded and paid for the audio version. The next day I started my Software Training for 2 weeks and I immersed myself as I was driving to and from the location, break evenings with listening to The Secret. I had wanted to work on a project locally in Software Training and something else instead of travelling around the UK on Training projects. On February 18th I was invited to a nutrition and health presentation and was told they wanted people to work self-employed but in their local area. I joined the business. I wanted to meet chefs and people who love to cook for my new business and I have just recruited a chef and met many others. Two of my friends that I have not seen in years suddenly came into my life just when I was thinking I must get in touch with them, one in the supermarket and another at a self development event – they both love to cook. I just got a call today to work on another IT project but this time based from home. <\/p>\n
New Kitchen and The Secret DVD<\/p>\n
Someone had rung me about designing me a new kitchen back in December and they had called back in January – I thought I would just get the design to help me visualise as I it was one of my goals. However, when they finished the design the cost was \u00a313,000, but then they decided I would be good as a show house so they lowered the price to \u00a36,500. I had the kitchen installed on February 20th. They are also sending potential customers around when I am ready to take a look and a percentage they pay for their kitchen will pay off my kitchen. They also gave me a free DVD player, I had ordered the Secret DVD not expecting it to arrive for 4 weeks and it arrived the following week. <\/p>\n
My New Car<\/p>\n
I have always bought my cars through my company – 3 brand new BMW’s in the past 9 years. I had decided just before the Secret to drop down to a Mercedes A Class hatchback, I knew if I really wanted another BMW I could have had it, but I thought it would be good to have a change, I had been in an A Class 4 years earlier and loved it because of the height and been able to see so much more when driving. I started visualising the car by visiting the showroom and getting the brochures in December. I applied for the car on 2nd February, credit was refused with one company, but the contract hire specialists were on my side and said not to worry. Eventually they found a company who did the deal and eventually I got my car on 12th March. I wanted a black one and that’s exactly what I got. I know I got this car for a reason. This car is even better than when I first looked at it. I love it since receiving it. I will also have another convertible before the end of the year.<\/p>\n
My New Journal<\/p>\n
I thought on 13th March I must get a journal to start writing all this down and then the very next day 14th March at friends drinking wine, I was telling them about The Secret and they just gave me a journal out of the blue. A lilac book with sliver stars hanging on the end of the lilac book markers – very cute – which they had bought for someone else, but they decided to give it to me. My entry that day was “I am so Happy and Grateful to have received this book as a gift including the pink pen that I am using to write this from my friends, I had only wished for such a book like this to write into the day before and then on the evening of 14 March it came true”.<\/p>\n
A Career in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming)<\/p>\n
I had done a free taster on NLP Neuro-Linguistic Programming on February 20. I had praised the two people who had given the course and told everyone about it – I really wanted to get on the 2 day course because I knew it would help me even more with understanding people and myself and help me to put more feeling into manifesting\u00e2\u0080\u00a6then magically a few days later they tried to contact me three times and offered me a place on the 2 day diploma. How am I going to pay I thought and I asked? They said no worries just pay for the workbooks. WOW!! I plan to do the other 2 days in May and then I will qualify for the Diploma, which will lead me on to the Practitioner course.<\/p>\n
Cheques Paid Early<\/p>\n
I had sent my local client my invoice for \u00a31300 for IT Training. I phoned them on 23rd March to check when it would be paid, I was told that the company were really bad at paying and it could take ages. I just told the universe that I needed it and gave gratitude to the lady who I spoke to. Three days later I got a great phonecall from her saying it would be payed on the 28th. It arrived in the post on 30 March. I sent her a note of gratitude immediately. Another cheque which normally comes in next week was also paid today.<\/p>\n
Conclusion
\nI have always attracted what I wanted into my life but I had forgotten that I can have it all in abundance without limitations – that is what The Secret has taught me. Money and not having enough because I was frightened of it…I now love it instead. I feel for the first time in my life that it is in alignment with everything that I want and I am receiving on a daily basis. I give Gratitude every day, morning and evening for everything I already have. My favourite attitude has always been Gratitude.
