Last year, 2006, I was urged from within to write a bunch of songs inspired by, and based on “SECRET’ principles. So I did. How to record them? No idea! I gave it up to THE UNIVERSE and visualised the finished cd each morning before going off to work. Months went by, and I saw no way, financially, time-wise or energy-wise to achieve the goal. However, kept the faith!
\nCome Christmas day, a friend gave me a chauffer driven trip to a recording studio in a nearby city with 1 hours free recording time. A lovely gesture, and I am so grateful, but I had no time or extra cash to use it (as yet). After all the Christmas festivities I went for a walk in my neighbourhood. One block from my home, aman backed his car out of his driveway and nearly ran into me. He stopped and apologised, then asked why I have a tatto of a treble clef on my arm. “Are you a musician?” he asked. Thinking he might be an axe murderer I mumbled yes and was about to move on when he said “I’m on holidays and have a recording studio here. Any time you would like to record, please feel welcome.” I was totally gobsmacked, but still thought he might be an axe murderer so I thanked him and moved on. HELLO!!! Two days later the UNIVERSE got through to me that I was being provided for!
\nThe result is that I am part way through recording the cd..one block from my home..no charge.
\nAnd no, he is not an axe murderer. In fact, we started talking and found we had so much in common, musically, spiritually and in other ways that we hooked up and have been inseparable ever since!
