I am a single mom, raising 2 wonderful kids. I was introduced to the secret about 6 months ago, but really just started working with the principles after watching the Oprah shows. One of the lines that stuck in my mind the most from The Secret was Bob Proctor saying “Just write it down: I am so happy and grateful, now that_______” We had a severe snowstorm on Valentines Day, and our male cat, Ike, went missing during the storm. We searched high and low through 20″ of snow, to no avail. On several occaisions, I felt myself starting to give up hope, but instead, I just started saying “I am so happy and grateful now that Ike is home.” Soon, I had my 2 children saying it with me. Last night, I began to repeat my new mantra, and had said it about 5 times when my boyfriend called out and asked me to come out into the kitchen to look at something….you guessed it! There was Ike, right at my back door! Shivering, skinny and HUNGRY!
