I had heard The Secret<\/a> a number of times, and I knew about the law of attraction. However, I kept being blocked by the idea that I was one voice in a sea of voices asking for things. So, I took a look at the mental structures that kept me from thinking that what I wanted was not coming. The biggest mental block was that a man could not live on his pen alone.<\/p>\n

I have always wanted to be a writer, and I have been writing every day from the age of 14 without fail. Not even once have I failed to at least write part of a story. But there was an idea stuck in the back of my head that I could not afford to live on writing alone.<\/p>\n

Well, about two weeks ago, I took that mental structure blocking my path and bashed it with my ambition. I kept telling myself that a successful writer desires success as much as a drowning man desires air! I had to set it in my mind that not being successful was more absurd and shocking than someone being struck by lightning seven times in a row!<\/p>\n

I am happy to say that book one is now out and is doing rather well for a first timer book. I may not have been able to afford the fancy editors, and there have been many bumps, but it is all part of the learning process!<\/p>\n

You just have to remember, you have to want it like a drowning man wants air. Not getting what you wish most for should seem absolutely bonkers! Thank you, thank you, thank you!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
