In my work I facilitate group therapy sessions in a residential chemical dependency treatment center. Two days ago I watched The Secret and was very impresssed by the message. Yesterday, I was scheduled to conduct a group sesseion and I abandoned my original topic, choosing insead to talk about the concepts outlined and presented in The Secret. Today, as I was approaching my office, one of the residents who was in the group shared with me that she has no money and that on the way to a sunrise session on the beach she was praying and visualizing finding money on the beach. Upon arrival, she looked down at her feet and saw a $20 bill in the sand. Not a huge amount but enough to meet her needs for awhile. She was SO excited to tell me of this event.
