A big, big, big thank you to Rhonda, the entire team of The Secret, all you amazing people who posted their stories here, and of course, the Universe!

Whoever looks at us can’t help but smile. We look great together, and we are great together. We have a passionate relationship where we’re each other’s best friends, we make each other laugh, and life’s complete when we’re together.

A month and a half ago, however, this was not the case. He broke it off, because he couldn’t handle my tantrums, he couldn’t handle my insecurity. This was not the girl he fell in love with! Where was the sweet, innocent girl who made him feel ecstatic every time he thought about her? Shamefully, I had changed from that to an insecure, jealous person who picked fights and constantly needed his time and attention. Every day, I thought about an ‘expiration date’ that our relationship would face someday, and the Universe just said, “Your wish is my command!” Unknowingly, times, situations, and circumstances made sure that happened. My negativity caused a change in my personality, and he finally could take no more. We decided to stay friends and nothing more.

I was devastated. I had to change my life for the better, make myself a better person, and find the old, nice me again. The Universe would then make sure I was happy. As far as he was concerned, I needed to be open to letting my soulmate come to me, whoever he would be. It would or would not be the man I insanely loved.

I won’t say it was easy. For the first few weeks, I kept thinking that I had applied The Secret, but I wasn’t getting anywhere. I saw no results, and I kept weeping every day, and every night. Then I stumbled upon The Magic that I had at home and followed it religiously, from the first practice to the very last one. As time passed, I found that it was easier to stay happy and feel good. Gratitude is miraculous. It can do anything. I followed the relationship practices, watched The Secret film, and made a vision board.

There were no results. Something was very wrong, and I knew it. I stopped trying to contact him on my own and spent more and more time with my old friends. I shared the knowledge with them and truly felt their joy when they succeeded in getting whatever they wanted.

I finally let it go. I reached a stage where I felt like I no longer needed anyone else to make me happy. I could make myself feel joyful, I truly loved myself. Slowly, I began to see a change. My relationships with everyone around me changed drastically. My boyfriend, who was then my ex, began contacting me. He changed his attitude towards me and made me feel loved and safe.

We met after a couple of weeks and had a wonderful time. I was feeling safe and happy, and I just knew we would be together again. We got back the very same day, and are in love more than ever. I believe we are meant to be, and I believe in The Secret even more than before because it happened when I least expected it.

We’re together, we’re happy, and we’re in love. I truly believe we will love each other more and more as time passes! To all those who feel it doesn’t work, don’t ever give up. It may take time, but trust me, it’s worth it. Your heartbreak also happened for a reason. Look at it as a chance from the Universe to make yourself a much better person. I did, and it worked for me.
