It’s The Little Things.

FloridaI'm 70 and retired, my husband is 71 and had a stroke almost 3 years ago. I have been using the Law of Attraction for many years.
About every 2 to 4 months, my husband has a doctor’s appointment that is a considerable distance away across town. His appointments are always at the same time and on the same day of the week. It takes about 45 minutes to get there, and I have to drive on a highway that I find very confusing, with many other highways merging together. On top of that, there is always a lot of road construction and plenty of big trucks coming and going. I drive everywhere, but this is the trip I dislike the most.
Last night, I set the intention that today’s trip would be easy and flawless, without any stress. I also hoped that when we arrived at the medical building, a perfect handicapped parking spot would be waiting for us, which is rare in this small parking lot. Again, this morning, I expressed my intention for a smooth and easy trip both to and from the appointment, and I envisioned that perfect handicapped parking space waiting for us as we pulled into the lot.
As we took the last exit before the medical building, I smiled, feeling grateful for the smooth journey. I even shared with my husband how easy the trip had been. When we pulled into the crowded parking lot, there were not just one, but two handicapped parking spots right in front. My husband expressed his surprise, and I responded by saying, “I am not surprised!”
I have been feeling so grateful and saying thank you during the rest of this day for how the universe answered my request. Although these were just little things, the absence of stress has made the rest of my day as a caregiver so much more enjoyable. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Thank you, and remember to think happy thoughts!
