Four Leaf Clover.
Submitted by: Asma
UKI am living and working in the UK and also experimenting with using intention and focused awareness to make changes in my life.
Lately, I’ve been thinking and reading about the power of visualization and focused attention. So many things I have asked for and wanted have shown up in my life, and also, things I really did not want but focused my attention on have shown up, too.
I have tried visualizing things I want but have not kept up with it, partly because I don’t believe I can have those things or get them this way. Anyway, I decided to choose something trivial to actively visualize and use focused intention on because I had no resistance to receiving it, so I could really test this thing out.
I decided on a four leaf clover since I had spent a good deal of my childhood hoping to find one but never really believing I would as I didn’t really believe they existed. Now, I knew they existed, but the odds of finding one were low, about 10,000 to 1. Even so, I began to hold the image of one in my mind whenever I remembered to, with the expectation of receiving it. I imagined it in a cellophane packet taped to the inside of my wardrobe as if I already owned it. In this way, I created the feeling of having it. This was over several days last week, though, only when I remembered.
I had not actively looked for one during this time because my expectation was that the Universe would bring it to me, and it was not for me to decide how. My active searching would only reinforce the belief that it had to arrive in a way I could imagine and predict, which could block my ability to receive it by another means.
Anyway, this afternoon, I was visiting my niece, and she gave me a green charm made from loom bands. She attached it to my bracelet, and I put it back on my wrist and didn’t think anything of it. A few minutes later, I looked down at it and asked her what it was. It looked like a green flower or butterfly.
She told me it was a four-leaf clover she had made from a YouTube video! At that moment, I knew that the Universe had delivered to me what I had asked for. My niece didn’t know what a clover was or that it had any significance for me; she had also made hearts and other shapes from YouTube videos.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
