Pimples, Acne, Mental Health Improved So Much.
Submitted by: Shivani
IndiaI am a girl who suffered with anxiety and depression due to body insecurity about my looks. I had pimples when I was a kid and also PCOD.
My pimples, acne, and mental health issues healed. My fear and insecurity have dramatically decreased.
To all the readers out there, I want to share something important about a time in my life. There was a time when I felt desperate and sad. I tried everything I could think of to feel better and stronger. One day, I decided to try the 3-6-9 method of affirmations, focusing on how I wanted to feel—healthier, freer, and more at peace. Gradually, things began to improve.
Later in my life, I faced a challenging struggle with severe acne on my face. I felt broken and devastated; the medicines didn’t seem to work, and it became difficult for me to face people. I noticed everyone looking at my acne, which only added to my distress. Looking back now, I realize that God gave me the strength to face the world during that time. I continued to write affirmations about having a clear, soft, and healthy face.
One day, I realized that if there was anyone on this planet without acne, it could be possible for me, too. Eventually, my acne cleared up, and the beautiful skin I once feared I would never have became a reality.
I also used to feel very insecure about the coarse hair on my chin. I eventually understood that my insecurity was based on a false belief. So, I started accepting and repeating the affirmation that I had no hair on my face, and it became true for me too.
I once heard that repeating affirmations is necessary to transform beliefs, even if it feels untrue at first; simple persistence can bring about change.
