Frisco TxMy name is Persis. I am a single mother of two amazing children who left her country 13 years ago and moved to the United States to chase her dream and today all my dreams have come true. i worked in a retail store for 5 years when I came to the USA. One of the my coworkers named me Lola for the song that says, "Whatever Lola wants, Lola gets", and I was well known for that! Now I am tax analyst in large company. I just started my own tax firm last week. I believe!
I didn’t realize I knew The Secret. Thirteen years ago, I woke up as a married woman with two kids, aged 4 and 1. I told my ex-husband that I wanted to go to America. Now, ten years later, I am living in America and have gone through a divorce. I started school to learn English, and next week I will graduate with a master’s degree in accounting. I kept telling myself that I would buy a house in Frisco, and I did. I got a job exactly where I had envisioned being a year before I actually secured the position. Now, alongside my job as a tax analyst, I have started my own firm. I truly believe that money is flowing to me.
My message for anyone reading this is: “Your thoughts will become things.” I’m Persian, and I remember my grandmother always reading to us. Rumi said it best in his “Masnavi”:
“Gratitude for power brings more power;
Entitlement takes the blessing away.”
He was a 13th-century Persian poet, mystic, and a timeless voice of wisdom. Even he knew The Secret.
