Dear Rhonda and team,
I don’t even know where to start. There is no clear beginning or end to our journey, and I find that incredibly exciting. A few years ago, I read The Secret and tried to apply its principles, but I struggled to stay consistent. However, I made a commitment to be more mindful of my desire to feel good and to direct my thoughts toward a more positive state, knowing that the law of attraction would support my efforts.
I have come to realize that nothing is more important than feeling good. I have found that consciously guiding my thoughts, day by day, has become easier as I have become aware that the law of attraction responds to my emotions. I have learned that it is easier to shift negative thoughts than to change negative outcomes. In addition, I have also discovered that the 15 minutes of daily meditation I practice helps me become more attuned to my feelings and thoughts. When I notice negative feelings arising, I know to either distract myself, focus on more general thoughts or engage in activities that bring me joy, such as listening to music or watching a funny show.
While there are many teachers of the law of attraction, reading The Secret was a turning point for me. It sparked my deep curiosity about how I can create my own reality and understand the reasons behind my experiences, including why I attract certain things. I have learned that embracing seemingly negative experiences can lead to personal growth when I redirect my focus toward what I truly desire.
This journey has led me to love and appreciate myself more, which in turn allows me to positively impact those around me. I have realized that to change outcomes, I must focus on positive thoughts, people, places, and circumstances. By using my powerful imagination and being deliberate in my thoughts, I have found a sense of peace in knowing that everything is available to me.
We often default to discussing what is not working in our lives, whether it is related to our children, finances, jobs, cars, or relationships. This negativity becomes a habit, and we wonder why we continue to attract more of the same. I have learned to be more selective in my focus, deliberately choosing to think only of positive qualities in individuals, regardless of their outward expressions.
I have found joy in my current state, knowing that being mindful of my emotions and practicing these principles every day allows me to stay aligned with my desires. I have realized that by prioritizing my well-being, I can better serve others and appreciate the interconnectedness of all beings. We are truly blessed. Thank you for providing this platform, which has uplifted me in various ways. It is a strong reminder of the commitment I have made to put myself first, knowing that by doing so, I can positively impact those around me.
