That’s when I started practicing visualization and truly believing that I would be able to go on the tour. I even took out my trolley, started choosing my clothes from the shelf, and browsed Pinterest for cute outfits to buy.

And you know what? Today, while I was talking to my teacher, I overheard someone saying that three girls from another class were planning to cancel their spots. Since I’m one of the toppers of the school, one of the teachers told me that they would consider me first. I still can’t believe it! My mom even congratulated me because she was the one who suggested that I manifest that. I am truly thankful to the universe for making it happen.

Recently, I was introduced to the law of attraction in a way that I had not previously considered. I have always believed in the power of positive thinking but didn’t practice it regularly.

My husband of 47 years passed away 8 months ago following a 6 month long stay in ICU following a double lung transplant and complications. Following his passing, I listened to The Secret, The Magic, and The Power. I was motivated to try what the books were teaching. I found that gratitude, positivity, faith, trust, and, most of all, love are keys to the law of attraction. I am grateful for receiving this knowledge and the inspiration to practice and strive for what I desire through meditation, positivity, sending love to the Universe, and believing in the magic that is in each of us.

On my journey, I have received many miracles. Two that I keep close to my heart are the following: One morning, during my meditation, I was feeling extremely emotional and tearful. I then realized that it was the 5 month anniversary of my husband’s passing. I cried and told him that I missed him and prayed that he recognized that I was striving to become a better mother, friend, and, in general, a better person. I asked that he be with me to guide and comfort me.

Part of my morning meditation is to read from Al Anon literature. The first reading on that morning was, “Be Still, and Know that I am with You!” I knew at that very moment that my husband was with me and that he had heard me. It was exactly what I had asked for. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

The second miracle was answered in a dream. Again, during a morning meditation on the 7th month anniversary of my husband’s passing, I asked that he be with me, guide me, and comfort me. I needed to know that he knew that I loved him still and that he was pain free and happy. That night, he appeared in my dreams. He appeared to be almost glowing. He was youthful, smiling, and happy. He was wearing a red T-shirt. It was the first time that I was aware of him appearing in my dreams, and it was very vivid. I learned that the color “red” in dreams can indicate that you have strong feelings about something in your waking life; it can represent wisdom, anointing power, and new birth. It can signify strength and resilience and can symbolize energy, passion, strength, courage, physical activity, and creativity. Because the dream was positive, with no sense of danger or anger, the other “negative” meanings that can be associated with the red color in dreams didn’t hold. So, I was comforted knowing that my husband knew that I loved him and that he was at peace, happy, and pain-free.

I am so grateful for my wonderful life and for all the blessings that I have received throughout my life. I am thankful for the faith and trust that I have developed, and I am grateful for the love of family and friends who supported me and our daughter through my husband’s illness. Most of all, I am grateful for the love and life I shared with my once-in-a-lifetime soulmate, lover, and best friend. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

First of all, a very big thank you to Rhonda, ma’am, for writing such amazing books. It’s because of her that I started praying on a daily basis, and now prayer for me simply means being grateful.

I came across The Secret a long time ago. My mom introduced me to this book, and I’m truly grateful to her because it’s only because of this book that I could overcome an emotional break-up, meet amazing people after moving on, and even get into an amazing college. Today, I would like to share a story about how I manifested a dream tour with my friends.

My friends and I always wanted to go to a hill-station called Darjeeling in West Bengal. We made itineraries, looked for places to visit there on the internet, planned for tickets, and so on. But I was a little worried about my father agreeing to it. I kept thanking the Universe for giving me such amazing friends and parents and, of course, for the most precious gift; my life.

Then, the day came when everything was finalized, and the only thing left was to ask my dad for his permission. My mom spoke to my dad, and after inquiring about everything, he agreed to it. I had tears in my eyes to hear a yes from him. And then the day came when we had to leave for the tour, and we did. We had loads and loads of fun, and the places we visited were far better than what we expected them to be. I kept thanking the Universe and my parents for it.

One day when I was back home and was showing my mom the pictures taken there and thanking her for allowing me to go, she mentioned that an aunt of mine convinced my father to let me go. The moment she said that I knew it was the Universe that sent her to convince my dad.

All I want to say to the readers is that whenever you are in doubt, look for things you are grateful for, and a way will be made.

I was walking home from summer school, which I attend two cities away when I was approached by a girl. We talked, and she was nice. I had made my first friend in my little city. We came to a fork in the road, and we split. When I was nearly home, I realized I forgot to ask her for her phone number, last name, or e-mail. As I said, I had lived in my city for about four years, and I only just encountered her. I walk down the same roads on a daily basis but that was the first time I encountered her. I felt my friendship had ended as fast as it had come.

Yesterday, I picked up The Secret from the local library after having been intrigued by my mom’s Spanish version. I began to read it and then I attempted to live by it. One of my first requests was to encounter that girl again. Yesterday and today, I asked, believed, and received. And then it happened!

I went jogging to the grocery store because of an errand I was on, and I could no longer jog back home, so I had to walk. A ten minute jog was now going to take me 25 minutes to walk. I was irritated at first, but I remembered The Secret, and it put a smile on my face. As I got closer to home, I approached the fork where my friend and I had split four days earlier. A few days earlier, I had thought that since it took me four years to encounter her the first time, I would have to wait another four years for it to happen again. However, I had been using The Secret for the past two days, so I smiled and continued my walk home.

A couple minutes from my home, I saw someone coming up the hill. I didn’t recognize them at first. Then, I saw them throwing their arms in the air. It was my friend whom I had wished to meet again. This time I got her phone number and last name.

The Secret gave me an encounter that I thought wouldn’t happen for another four years. There were so many variables that could have prevented this encounter, but the Universe changed things so that I would encounter her. If I had accepted the offer from my mom to get a ride to the store, I wouldn’t have encountered my friend. If, for certain reasons, I was able to jog back home, I would have arrived home before I ran into her. All these variables and more were taken care of for me by The Secret.

I’ve only known about this force for two days, and already, I’ve experienced a miracle. I’ve tried religion and different beliefs, but none of them have ever felt right. This felt right from the moment I read the first page. I have now found my way of life.

What I did was believe that, no matter what, I would achieve this exact grade. I explored various methods, including SAT prep and scripting. About three to four months before my board exams, I visualized myself scoring 95% every day. I engaged all of my senses while doing this, and I made it a nightly routine.

When the results day arrived, I was overjoyed to see my name on the school bulletin board with a score of 95%! It was honestly the best day I’ve ever had. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

To anyone reading this story, just believe in yourself and the Law of Attraction, and everything will be alright.

Here are some other things I’ve manifested: dating my crush, becoming friends with people I admire, and acquiring material possessions like expensive makeup and skincare products.

We first met in our IELTS class. Initially, I didn’t think much of him because he was quiet most of the time. After a year and a half, he was the first person in the class to take the IELTS and achieved an impressive overall score of 8.0. I was shocked and started to pay more attention to him, but unfortunately, it was too late because he no longer studied with me.

Six months passed, and I had almost forgotten about him until I ran into him again in my math tutoring class. At that moment, I knew he was my destiny. I chatted with him after class to ask about math homework and noticed how good he was at it, of course, as he had won second prize in mathematics in the city. I was impressed that he replied to my questions even late at night, which touched me.

However, about two weeks later, I accidentally discovered that he had a girlfriend. It was a private account with just the two of them. I realized this was a lesson from the universe—a wake-up call to help me reconnect with reality. Rather than feeling disappointed, I felt lucky because I needed to focus on my entrance exam instead of him. I understood that his presence in my life was meant for a lesson, not for romance. The lesson I learned was not about love, but about appreciating his intelligence.

Regardless, I want to thank him for stepping into my life. I know that my future path won’t include him. Thank you for appearing in my life so sweetly and thoughtfully. And to the universe, I love you so much.

For the past 10 years, I’ve felt like my life has been at a standstill while everyone else around me has been moving forward rapidly. My younger brother and close friends have bought homes, found love, traveled, and enjoyed financial abundance without struggle.

I’ve never had a significant other to share my life with, and I’ve constantly struggled to find housemates to help with rent while hopping from one temporary job to another. I haven’t had paid holidays or sick leave in years.

In April I experienced a series of setbacks. I turned 30, lost my job without notice, and had my housemate inform me that they were going to move out. Additionally, I ended a relationship with someone who was not treating me the way I deserved. I found myself in a financial mess with minimal savings.

On my 30th birthday, surrounded by close family and friends as I blew out the candles on my cake, I made a wish. I decided that I could either hit rock bottom or rise like a phoenix. I listened to The Secret and The Power on my iPod while I was out walking, and I read the books, including The Magic. I started to act, believe, and to receive. It is so true that thoughts become things!

The transformation in my life has been incredible. My mindset shifted from negative to extremely positive in all aspects of my life.

Within six months, I secured a permanent career at the Public Transport Authority, where I had previously been temping. I love my new career, the people, the benefits, and the amazing salary. I now have paid holidays and sick leave! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I also won a competition and received a $500,000 check! “The Secret” guided me to win this amount. With it, I bought a beautiful home in a great suburb. I am now mortgage-free, and living in my dream home without needing housemates to help cover the rent.

I also found the man of my dreams who loves me deeply. I have never felt so loved and in love before. He has asked me to move in with him, saying he can’t bear the thought of not waking up with me every morning!

We have travel plans for Japan with friends and a trip to Exmouth and Coral Bay in Western Australia to swim with whale sharks, all of which are on my bucket list, for early next year.

Earlier, I used to be a negative and depressed person who constantly focused on negative circumstances. However, after reading and learning about “The Secret,” my life has undergone a positive change. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Rhonda Byrne!

My story isn’t confined to just one situation; it’s a collection of experiences that demonstrate that if we follow “The Secret” properly, we can attain any of our desires.

For example, I commute to work on my two-wheeler, and on rainy days, I always believe that the sun will shine brightly during my commute. To my surprise, that happens every time!

I was also manifesting a specific amount of money, ₹10,000, to buy a watch and a perfume. Last week, I learned that my senior gifts interns a certain amount of money on their birthdays. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Additionally, I obtained one of my desired jobs at my preferred office. I am truly grateful for all these blessings!

There are so many situations in my life like this. I just want to say that no matter what it is, if you ask and believe in receiving from the universe, you will definitely receive.

Back in 1991, I worked at a grocery store where I had a very good friend named Joanne. After I graduated from university and got married, I moved away from that store, and although we had a great friendship, we never exchanged phone numbers or emails. At the time, I thought we’d eventually run into each other. As the years went by, we completely lost touch. Social media didn’t exist back then.

Fast forward to about 18 months ago. I started rereading The Secret and other books about the law of attraction. Knowing how particular I can be about testing things, I decided to put it to the test in a very specific way: I chose to focus on something that felt nearly impossible — finding Joanne. I searched for her on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram, but I could not find anything. Still, I kept visualizing meeting her again, talking, and catching up. I did this almost every night.

Then, two weeks ago, something incredible happened. I was running errands, going from one store to another. I was stuck in traffic and forgetting items on my list. It was the kind of day when everything seemed out of sync. At the very last store, I had all the items on my list in hand, and as I approached the cash register, I realized that I had forgotten one last item. I returned to get it and then headed straight back to the cash register. As I stood on the cash register line with just a few items, I looked up and locked eyes with a woman who suddenly called out, “Mike!” To my shock, it was Joanne!

I dropped everything and rushed to her. We hugged so tightly that the clerk just stood there smiling. She was surprised by my reaction, and I told her, “You have no idea how long I’ve been thinking about you, and here you are!”

When I got back to the car, I realized how many tiny coincidences the universe had aligned for that moment to happen. It was as if every delay and detour that day was part of a grand plan to make our paths cross again. After more than 30 years, the impossible had happened — and I was blown away.

Tomorrow, I’m having lunch with her (and possibly her husband), and we have a lot to catch up on. Now that I’ve seen what’s possible, I’m planning to test the universe again with smaller “requests” and marking the dates to see how long they take to manifest.

I recently got my first job working at a grocery store downtown, which is totally awesome. I’ve met some great people there, including a guy I started liking. I’ll call him T. I didn’t think anything would happen because one of our first conversations was about how he liked another girl who worked with us. I was a bit disappointed but I didn’t let myself be upset about it. The next few times I worked with him, I noticed he started calling me ‘cute’ pretty often and would talk to me a lot more often. This continued for a couple of weeks.

Last Friday, I was working the morning shift, which I was not used to. I usually work the night shift. So going in at 7 AM wasn’t the best idea of fun for me, plus a lot of my friends weren’t working that shift. I was pretty upset for the first hour, but then I told myself to stop all of that negative thinking and to use The Power! So I pulled out a piece of paper when I had the time and wrote down a short list of what I was thankful for and the things I wanted to happen. I was leaving for vacation in 4 days, so I wrote down that I wanted to get T’s number before I left. Then, a customer showed up, so I slid the piece of paper into my pocket and continued working, not thinking much about the paper or the goal I had written down.

Two hours later, I was standing at the register, bored out of my mind. I saw someone walking up to my register, so I got ready to scan their first item, but to my surprise, it was T. I had never seen him come in outside of his work time before. We started talking, and then guess what? He asked for my number! I gave it to him, and we talked for a minute. Then he said something about me being so much younger than him. He’s four years older than me. I asked him why it mattered. He said, “Hmm, I’ve never dated someone that much younger than me before.” Then he gave me a smile before walking out of the store. I freaked out!!

He texted me a few hours later that day, and we’ve been talking a lot since then. Oh, we went on our first date a couple of days ago. I’m on vacation right now, and now I’m waiting for him to call me.
