I used to have a mentality of letting the other person make the mistake. Today, before every point, I told myself how thankful I am and how much gratitude I have for being able to play tennis and how much I love it. I had an abundance of joy and thankfulness for being on the court. I won the game 6-2, 6-2. I am so thankful for finding The Secret and being able to practice the Law of attraction!

I am very happy to share my story with you all and hope this may be uplifting to someone. At the beginning of this year, I was determined to change how my life had been going. It was pretty rough trying to make ends meet and making sure that your child is happy and has everything that they need and want.

This year, my son and I have experienced some significant changes in our lives. We had been hoping to move to a new place as we had outgrown our current living situation and needed a change of scenery. Despite having bad credit and struggling to keep up with bills and rent, I kept affirming, “I need to move, I need a new place to live.” In early January, the couple I babysit for offered me the opportunity to move into their two-bedroom condo in an expensive part of town. The rent and living expenses were much cheaper than before, and the new place was only ten minutes from my job. It is truly a blessing, and I believe it was an answer to my prayers.

Fast forward to July. I envisioned myself getting ahead on all my bills and expenses. I expressed my desire to pay off all my bills and expenses six months in advance, so I could always stay ahead. I made a list of my expenses and planned to check them off as I paid them. When I called to pay my son’s health insurance, I was late, but to my surprise, the operator informed me that my payment was not due until February of next year! It was an unexpected blessing, and I can only attribute it to the power of positive thinking and divine intervention.

I have learned that speaking positive affirmations and trusting in a higher power can bring about unexpected and wonderful changes. If you need anything to change in your life, speak it out loud in a positive way and trust that the Universe will work its magic.

Amidst that darkness, however, I made a decision. I chose to believe in something greater, my own truth, a higher power, and the unseen force that responds to our inner world. I began to rewrite my story. Every day for three years, I affirmed, “I am free and clear of this charge. I am so grateful that this is behind me.” I wrote it, spoke it, and believed it—even when reality hadn’t caught up.

That daily practice became a turning point in my life. Slowly, that belief embedded itself deep within me. In 2022, the case was dismissed, and everything I had written and affirmed became my reality.

Looking back, I see now that this was a divine redirection—a setup for my personal expansion. That moment forced me to reevaluate who I was, what I believed, and where I was going. It taught me one of the most powerful truths: nothing outside of you can change until something within you changes first.

I carry this story with me as evidence of my power, resilience, and co-creative role with the universe. Whenever life presents a new challenge, I return to this truth: I am not a victim of my circumstances—I am the creator of my reality.

Like many girls, I always wanted to attract my perfect weight. So I acted as if, visualized, and at times, even felt as if I already had my perfect weight. But nothing worked, so I decided to let it go, but that did not work either. I was confused. I read stories about women who were able to attract their perfect weight. I did the same things that they did, and yet I could not attract my perfect weight. So, what was I missing?

I was afraid of something. Something terrible. Rape. In India, there have been a number of rape cases, so I immediately asked the Universe and the law of attraction to protect me. So, the Universe and the law of attraction helped me by giving me extra layers of fat. As a result I could not wear tiny dresses or clothes or expose my skin in any sort of way to attract attention. This “fear” was blocking my perfect weight.

So one day, I told myself that I was not afraid of rape or any other kind of molestation, for that matter. I also mentioned that nobody would have the guts to even touch me, even if I was wearing tight or short clothes.

The next day, my mom asked if I wanted to join the karate classes. I readily agreed and within a month, I knew all the tips and tricks to defend myself. And I was no longer scared! I was confident. I walked in the streets with confidence. Then I started losing weight. I even started buying short clothes with a smaller waist size, and within a week or so, I was able to wear them.

One day, a guy even tried to act smart with me by trying to touch me in a crowded place. I used one of my karate tricks, and boy! People were really surprised, and that man was taken to the police. I felt so confident.

I believe I have the power to defend myself now, and I also attracted my perfect weight. So, the reason why most of us are not able to attract our perfect weight is because we fear something. It could be anything. Get that fear off your mind because it is blocking your goal! I hope all you pretty girls out there get what I mean. I am extremely happy!!!

A few years later, thanks to my work on the renovation project of that resort, I found myself living in an all-inclusive beach resort, which was the kind that normally charges a minimum of $400 per night per guest. I enjoyed all the facilities, indulged in buffet meals and drinks for free, and even had a chance to party. I stayed for over six months! Can you imagine how much that would have cost otherwise? Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I have now moved to a new home, converted my current house into Mushroom Farm Unit 1, and acquired new agricultural land to expand the business.

Then, one day, I bought The Magic book without any idea what it was about. I began to read it, but after a few days, I lost interest and stopped reading.

In January of this year, I was so sad that I realized something had to change right away. I thought it couldn’t be possible that I found no meaning in my life while others with fewer things than me were happier. Then I remembered The Secret and began to read it and do everything the book said.

I began to feel a little better every day and noticed some changes in my life. But when I became sick and my boyfriend broke up with me, I felt very sad again, but not as much as in the beginning.

Finally, in May, to my surprise, I met the perfect guy for me. We had the same interests and opinions, and we fell in love very fast. Now we are in a great relationship, and I can’t even say how much this guy cares about me like no one else before. And that’s not all. In all these months, I moved to a great new house, I got a great job, I started studying what I wanted, and my health improved.

Now, not a day passes by without me thinking positively about my life. I am so happy every day and grateful for my life. I want to say thank you, thank you, and thank you to all of The Secret team. You have saved my life! All my wishes have come true, and I know that all my other wishes will come true too. Just believe in yourself and be grateful for everything that you have had, and will have.

However, I initially struggled to fully believe that mere positive thoughts and hope could lead to results without diligent effort and hard work. Despite my skepticism, I came to realize the importance of the ideas presented in “The Secret”, that positive thoughts, feelings, imagination, and manifestation can shape our reality. And indeed, I experienced this firsthand.

One day, after a lengthy six-hour teaching session, I started suffering from leg pain and was trying to find a comfortable way to travel to my native place. My car was unavailable, so I waited for an air-conditioned bus to make my journey more comfortable. I waited for nearly an hour, during which some ordinary buses arrived, but I declined to board them because I was hopeful for a more comfortable, ultra-deluxe bus.

After deciding that it was a waste of time, I boarded a regular bus. Miraculously, shortly after I got on, an air-conditioned bus arrived. I quickly got off the previous bus and rushed to board the AC bus. To my surprise, there was only one seat available, just enough room for me. I felt that this was the secret behind “The Secret.” I expressed my gratitude to the Universe and thought of Rhonda Byrne.

Since that experience, I no longer worry about taking the bus. Whenever I need to travel by bus, an air-conditioned vehicle is always ready for me. I continue to pray to the Universe for this to happen, and it always does. Thank you, Universe, thank you, thank you, thank you, and thank you, Rhonda Byrne, for “The Secret.” Thanks to everyone involved!

I live in a beautiful neighborhood, but for some time, the air traffic over and around my house had been getting out of hand. It made the neighborhood noisy, and it vibrated with an energy that was out of sync with the divine and spiritual existence of the neighborhood.

So I prayed, and every day, I wrote down and set my intentions for the removal of this air traffic, as well as the removal of the flight path that went over and around my house and neighborhood.

With divine intervention and my complete and fierce faith, I was able to manifest this desire. It was challenging because for this desire to manifest, I had to see the absence of the desired goal, so it took a few tries, but now, here we are!

Today, there is absolute quiet, tranquility, and peace all over and around my house and my neighborhood! The skies are vibrant with all the colors of nature and with birds, as well as the beautiful sounds of birds instead of the noise of airplanes. The flight path has been officially removed by the biggest airport in the world! And it just happened! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I am so grateful for the blessings of this abundant Universe in manifesting my desire. I knew that I was worthy and deserving of this simple request, and it came to life in divine timing with ease and speed. Anything is possible when we focus with simple faith and belief. We just have to persevere.

One day, my ex-husband, children, and I were driving 1,200 miles to his parents’ home for the 4th of July. As we passed through South Carolina, I had a sudden feeling that it would be a beautiful place to live. I began to imagine living in South Carolina for the entire week-long trip, and these thoughts brought me a peaceful and energizing feeling. I realized that leaving my abusive marriage and exploring new places was bringing back positive thoughts that I had missed for so long. The happiness I felt during that week was noticeable to others, and it was a refreshing change from the toll that my previous home life had taken on me.

When we arrived back home from our vacation trip, I didn’t want to walk into my house and feel the way I had been feeling. I kept the image of the Carolinas and the peaceful feeling in my mind because I longed for it.

Two days after arriving home, my boss called me and said, “Joy, we just had a resignation, and we would like to offer you a new position as a Marketing Manager.” I was shocked because I don’t have a college degree and no experience in marketing, other than the merchandising work I was doing for my boss as his assistant. He was one of the marketing managers, and knowing that my boss was the Florida representative for the company, my next question was, “Where is the position located?” He replied, “Well, you will have to relocate to South Carolina.”

My jaw dropped and an overwhelming chill filled every inch of my body. He said I didn’t have to answer that day, but the salary would be almost six figures, and the company would need a decision as quickly as possible. It took me a second to say, “I’ll take it!” Looking back, I realized that when I shifted my focus a bit from how to make enough money to get out of the abuse to the other areas of my life that the abuse was affecting, I realized that one of my needs was primary and one secondary.

This was over twenty years ago, and today, I still don’t have a college degree. I have changed careers and industries and am still working at a high level, continuing to receive promotions. My daughter, who I helped put through college, although she paid most of it herself, knows how hard it is to get into an organization at a high level now and can’t believe what I’ve achieved with my lack of education. She is so happy and proud of her mom.

When she graduated from college, which took her about seven years, she was interning at a major hospital. She called me and said, “Mom, they are offering me a clerk job, and I will make $10.00 an hour. It will be a great foot in the door.” I told her that although it’s a good foot in the door, I asked if she could see herself as a clerk, and her answer was not really. But she needed a full-time paying job. I told her that they obviously liked her and that other opportunities would follow, but she had to believe this and not take this clerk position. Her goal was to stop being a waitress at night. I shared with her some of my ideas about getting to the top, and I told her that she needs to dress for the job she wants, see herself in the job she wants, and act like she is in that job by doing the right things and staying engaged and focused.

She called me a few times afterward because of the many job offers she was getting. My first question was, “Is that what you really want?” As soon as she hedged and said not really, I told her, “Don’t take it. Be patient, and keep a clear image in your head of what you want.” Then, not too long ago, she called after about a month of calls and said excitedly, “Mom, they want me to interview for a marketing coordinator position. I will be the face of the hospital, handling many projects and activities, as well as being a spokesman when the news stations want to interview the hospital. But when I read the job description in the application, it requires three years of experience.” As I always do, I asked her if this was the job she wants, and she said yes. I asked her who she would report to, and she said the CEO of the hospital. I told her to apply even though she did not have the experience and that they wouldn’t have asked her to apply if they didn’t see something in her. She told me there were a couple of very experienced candidates, though. I said, “So what, apply anyway,” and she did.

Well, I guess you know where I am going from here. My little girl called me a week later and told me she got an interview. The minute she said anything negative, I had to remind her to expect to get the job and visualize. A week after her interview, I got a call and she said, “Mom, I got the job!” I feel blessed that I have been able to pass the law of attraction to my child. All of this happened in 2012 when most college grads were having to work fast food and clerk positions because jobs just haven’t been available in this economy. Thinking back through my life (I am 49 now), I have so many other stories as to where this has worked.

I believe you can achieve anything, do anything, and be anything that you set your mind to. Thoughts are powerful and it’s important to have a good heart and put out positivity in order to receive positivity in return. Simply visualizing and imagining without action will not bring results. Mastering the law of attraction requires being a well-rounded, positive person with inner beauty. When you believe in yourself, others will also believe in you. This positivity is contagious!
