Your message has literally saved my life. Thank you to all.

For the past few years, life has been flowing fairly nicely. I have been blessed with a wonderful man and good friends, and I am slowly fixing up my home.

The one major, ongoing problem was my job. My boss broke me, and I hated my job with a passion. So I found another job, and naturally it was even worse! I found myself another job, searching yet again, and was having an absolute day from hell when my boss walked in and fired me without warning. Even though I knew I had attracted the situation, I was shattered. Who was I without my job?

Several times over the course of a month, I made it to the short list of candidates for very good jobs, but each time, I failed at the last moment. The worst part was that I did not know why.

I lost all hope. I hit rock bottom. I actually decided on the date that I planned to take my own life.

A few days ago, I read something related. I don’t even remember what it was, but I decided that since I only had a matter of days left to live, I may as well be as happy as I could be for that time.

Out of the blue, I had a wild hunch that I should apply again for my dream job. I had already had one interview, so I knew my boss’s name and face. I even put their number in my phone under the name “Boss.”

Today while I was waiting for another interview with that same person, a stranger walked up to me, looked deeply into my eyes, and said: “Have a lovely day.”

A few minutes later, I walked into the interview and left with a new career and a fantastic, supportive new boss. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

So thank you so very much again, Rhonda, for being the catalyst for my hope, and thank you to the stranger who blessed me when I needed it most.

I started my new job on the day I had planned to end my life.
