I was recently speaking to a colleague at work and telling him about The Secret and how he should give the audiobook a listen. I was telling him about the law of attraction and how if you say what you want, you will get it. That was when I realized it had worked for me multiple times throughout my life, from me saying I wanted to settle down and have kids a few years ago, and now I have a fiancée and two beautiful children.

More recently, my brother came to me and said that we are taking the family to Disneyworld in Orlando and we should go with him. I said yeah, knowing that we would struggle to afford it. Then, a few weeks later, I parked my car at work in the same spot I’ve always parked it, and a truck that brings the goods into my work backed into my car, only causing cosmetic damage, nothing I was worried about. I went through the insurance to fix the car, and they deemed it an economical write off so they offered me £1,900 to keep the car and not make the cosmetic changes to it. I said yes, and now that money has been used for our family holiday. It was only after listening to The Secret that I realized what actually happened.
