The Secret Miracle.

USAI am a believer.
In 1978, at the age of 14, I moved from Iran to the US after the revolution of 1979. I suffered emotionally due to the distance from my family, being bullied in school, and not knowing the English language. But I never lost faith in God, even through all the adversities I endured.
Fast forward to 2007. I was a single woman with three loving dogs. I obtained my Real Estate license and was a sales trainer and manager at a professional real estate investment firm. However, due to the housing bubble of 2008, I started suffering financially and emotionally. By this time, I started to lose hope because, after so many years of hardship, I no longer had the strength for unwavering faith.
One day, I was discussing my financial woes and loneliness with one of my students, who was a British older lady. She asked me if I had seen a film called The Secret. I told her no, and she highly recommended I watch it, yet she never told me what the film was about. All she said was it would change my life. I soon forgot about it, being preoccupied with how I would be able to pay my bills.
A few days later, I received an email from an old friend whom I hadn’t heard from in 2 years, begging me to watch a film called “The Secret” because it changed her life. I thought the film was about romance and relationships since she always had problems in that department, so I brushed it off and forgot about it again.
A few months later, I was called into jury duty. While I was waiting at the courthouse for my name to be called, a woman walked in, sat right next to me, and started reading a book named “The Secret.” I became intrigued and wanted to know if it was the same as the film I was told about. So I asked her, and she said a friend of hers highly recommended it because it ‘changed her life.’ I immediately remembered my student and my friend using those exact words. I started thinking about it, and of course, a few days later, I forgot about it again.
Then one day I was really down about my finances and was talking to a colleague when he asked me if I’d heard about a film called “The Secret. By this time, I had said to myself that I needed to watch it because this was the fourth time I had heard about it. He then called one of his friends and asked if I could borrow “The Secret” DVD. His friend stopped by the office that same day and gave me the DVD. That night, I vividly remember making myself a spaghetti dinner and getting ready to watch it. No one explained what the film was about; I was just told I should watch it because it would change my life. I put on the DVD and started eating my spaghetti dinner. I then noticed it was more like a documentary than a movie. As I was watching and eating, suddenly, the fork fell out of my hand, and I couldn’t swallow my food. Why? Because I froze when I heard Bob Proctor say, “You see, whatever happens in your life, you’ve attracted it into your life.” After hearing that, I couldn’t move or eat another bite. It was the biggest epiphany of my life. I absolutely loved it. Every word out of the mouth of each teacher made sense in this film. Then I realized the reason I was told about The Secret four times by four different people was because the Universe was sending me a message.
The next morning, I purchased The Secret book, DVD, and the audiobook. I could not get enough. Now I have The Power audiobook, The Magic book, The Greatest Secret book, the The Secret Manifestation Cards, and I have downloaded The Secret Super App for my daily affirmation and gratitude practices. I also have been using The Magic book as my daily guidance.
