I have read a lot of stories about people asking for small things to test if the Universe is listening. I tried it a few times, but I was not expecting it to come true, so it didn’t. That’s how it works, you ask, then believe, and finally receive. I didn’t believe.

I had been working on figuring out my beliefs and shifting gears for positive beliefs and abundance. So one day I was watching my birds and wondered why I hadn’t seen any hummingbirds this season. I asked the Universe, “Could you surprise me today?”

I work from home and sat at my island in my kitchen and started working. Then something caught my eye, and I looked out the window and watched a hummingbird feeding. I smiled and thanked the Universe for the beautiful bird. I went back to work. A few minutes later, another hummingbird came. Two in one day, I was so happy.

The Universe wasn’t finished yet! The Universe surprised me all day long, with the two hummingbirds feeding and flying around my window. I had a giddy, joyful feeling all day, and I went to bed grateful for my day.
The Universe listens in a big way.
