A good friend recommended the book “The Secret” to me when I was going through a tough time. I had experienced a series of stressful events, including a scare with breast cancer, my father’s illness and passing, taking in my elderly mother, moving to a new house, battling pneumonia, and losing a dear friend.

After finishing the book, I began to notice strange things happening in my life. I stumbled upon my first husband, Andrew, on a social networking site that was suggested by a friend. It brought back memories and emotions. Despite trying to stop myself, I couldn’t resist looking up information about him online. I learned that he had remarried and had children, which made me feel a mix of happiness and sadness. My current husband, John, had a temper, so I kept my search a secret.

During a road trip, our GPS unexpectedly directed us to a town in Ohio where Andrew lived, which made me realize the potential impact of the law of attraction. Despite trying to refocus on my daily life, I continued to think about Andrew. Later, while unpacking, I found a jewelry box given to me by Andrew’s mother, containing her original wedding ring set. This realization allowed me to end my current marriage and be honest with myself about my feelings.
