I feel incredibly fortunate to have read The Secret when I was only ten years old. Now, at 16, I’ve been crushing on this guy for almost a year, and I’ve been determined to make him mine. I made his picture the wallpaper on my phone and created a playlist of all his songs. I’m currently wearing a dress that holds special memories for me because he hugged me while I was wearing it. While listening to one of his songs, I imagined being with him, and I felt it with all my heart. Then, while hugging and kissing my pillow, he messaged me! We hadn’t spoken in over a month, and the exact moment I was fantasizing about him, he messaged me. This is incredible!

We had a fight six months ago, and we haven’t talked much since then. The odds didn’t look great, but in my heart, I knew he was the one I wanted. I kept believing despite everything. Even though he dated two other girls, my faith didn’t waver.
