I am a 17 year old girl. I started following The Secret when I was 15. I had my doubts, but after I read The Power and The Magic, the doubts have vanished away. The law of attraction and these books have changed my life, and I am happier than I have ever been. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
This incident happened when I was on my 12th day of practicing The Magic, a book I was following. I was at a crowded shopping center far from my home with my cell phone in my right hand. To ensure its safety, I kept it either in my bag or in my hand. After dinner, I went to the washroom to wash my hands and absentmindedly left my phone on a stand while I was arranging my dress in one of the cubicles. A while later, my brother called me, and I realized I had left my phone in the washroom cubicle.
I panicked at first, knowing that in a poor country like India, my lost phone could mean a day’s meal for a poor family that might sell it. However, I gathered my composure and decided to stay positive and not focus on the negative situation. I trusted that I would get my phone back. I used The Secret’s teachings to stay positive and not expend energy on any type of negativity despite feeling a sudden shiver down my spine.
Over the next few days, my phone remained switched off, which seemed like what a typical thief would do. But I did not lose faith. I continued to stay positive and practiced the ‘The Magical Way Out of Negativity’ exercise, even reading about Rhonda Byrne’s daughter losing and finding her wallet repeatedly.
On the third day, I was on my way home from college, and I decided to be happy about getting a new advanced cell phone in place of my lost one. I was feeling happy, even in a negative situation. That day, my mother called me and said that a lady had found my cell phone and informed my teacher, who then informed her. I was overjoyed and grateful for the lady who found my phone and gave it back to me.
I went to meet the lady and thanked her for returning my lost cell phone. I am grateful for her kindness. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
