Well, I want to start by thanking Rhonda Byrne and all the people who shared The Secret with the world and with me. So, thank you, thank you, thank you so much to the infinite!

So this story has happened to me, and I’m sharing it with you because I hope and, at the same moment, I know that it’ll undoubtedly inspire each one of you!

I’m a sixteen year old girl; I come from a family that is not rich but not poor either; we have all we need to live. The worst thing for me wasn’t the fact that my family wasn’t rich, but the way of thinking of my mom. My mom says that she’s a realistic woman who believes only what she sees. And that, I think, is the worst thing that someone can do. So I was taught to be realistic to desire something only if I had the money and the resources to achieve it, if not I should have stopped desiring it because I couldn’t just “magically” have it and it would just make me feel upset. So, it had been difficult for me to live with these kinds of thoughts and rules.

I discovered The Secret when the movie was released, and it was my father who showed it to me, and I’m so thankful and grateful to him. Although I had known The Secret years ago, I had never applied its rules. Anyway, even if I didn’t use The Secret, I was aware of it, and that helped me a lot because one day, I do not know exactly how, but I decided to re-watch The Secret movie. I watched it over and over and over again. Then, after watching the movie, I visited the website, and I used it unconsciously.

At that time, I wanted two things: a necklace and a laptop. Those two things used to appear impossible to achieve because they cost a lot, and as a sixteen years old girl, I didn’t have much money. But then, one day, my father gave me 500€, and I decided to buy that necklace because I felt as if that money was sent to me by the Universe to answer my desires. So I spent 150€ to buy that necklace that I still have, which still brings me joy every time I touch it. But then I didn’t have enough money to buy the laptop, especially because I didn’t want a general laptop. I wanted a MacBook because I thought I deserved it.

So I kept dreaming about it, and I kept acting as if I already had it. I opened it, touched it, and pretended to work on it. I felt joy as if I really had it, while in front of me, there was only air.

The day after, I was still wondering how it all happened. My sister told me that since I wanted the laptop so much, she would add her 300€ to the 300€ I had left, making a total of 600€. With this amount, I could convince my mother to buy the laptop in installments. That afternoon, my mom took me to the Apple Store and bought me the MacBook Air that I wanted. I used the 600€ to pay for it, and now I pay 79€ every month using the money I earn from giving private lessons. I am able to do this because I am the best student in my school. I don’t know if we can call it magic or “The Secret,” but I know that it works, and there’s nothing more realistic than this. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Right now, I’m writing this story with the MacBook, and I swear that I feel the same joy I felt while imagining how I would have felt having it.

Today I want to receive 100,000€ because I think I deserve it. I want to feel a life that has never been mine when I enter a shop, and I don’t have to control each price tag and be worried or even scared that I won’t have enough money to buy what I think will please me. They say that if I want something, no matter what it is that I want, and no matter how impossible it may seem, if I believe and know that it’s mine, then the answer must be “Your wish is my command.”

I hope my story has given you proof that The Secret works, because you have to see it from the point of view of a sixteen year old girl who has no money. Who comes from a family of four people where just my mom works, and earns a little money that can just cover the necessary outgoings for us to live. All I can tell you is to believe!
