I love The Secret!! It has given me so many things; thinking back on it gives me the chills!! It started a couple of years ago. I had been single for ages and struggled a bit in life. I read The Secret and also watched The Secret movie, and it really made me feel that there was hope. I just started with small things, thinking of the things I wanted.

I had a bag that I really loved, but for some reason, I had lost the strap, so I couldn’t wear the bag over my shoulders. I started thinking and imagining myself wearing the bag with the strap, visualizing that I had the strap. Not long after I had started that thinking process, I went to a friend’s house, bringing the bag with me. She said: “Oh, I have the same bag. Then I told her I had lost the strap and was annoyed that I couldn’t wear it around my shoulder. Then she said, “You can have my strap. I am not using it!”

That was the first time I had received what I had been thinking and feeling and realized that The Secret was really working! After that, I asked for more things.

I wrote a letter to myself describing a man with brown eyes who I was living with in a big house. I was single and living in a “mousehole” at the time. Today, I am living in a big house with the man of my dreams, and yes, he has brown eyes!!

And this is the most amazing thing: a year ago I used The Secret check and wrote the large amount of 1 million Norwegian kroner, which is a lot of money!! I kind of forgot about it, and the other day, I was thinking about it and realized that I had never received this money.

Then it dawned on me that I did receive it!! Just last year, my boyfriend and I decided to move together. I sold my apartment for more than I had paid for it, and I also paid off some of the mortgage on it, so I got 1 million NOK.!! Since I used this money to buy our new house, I did not think of it as a gift at first, but it really was. We would not be living in this beautiful house if it were not for that million! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

So now I am writing myself a new check, and it will be a really big one!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
