I want to say thank you to Rhonda, her staff, and all the courageous individuals who share their stories. Each story is truly inspiring and fills me with hope and joy.
I sometimes struggle with the concept of “gratitude.” I used to feel like I had to be thankful to a higher power or a deity, which I could not bring myself to believe in. Recently, I have been connecting with “My Goddess,” which has been comforting. Instead of using the word “gratitude,” I prefer to make a list of things I appreciate in my life. I often write “Thank you, Universe!” underneath, but I refer to it as my “appreciation list.”
For some reason, the word “appreciate” resonates with me. I find it easier to acknowledge and be grateful for the things I have. It’s wonderful to remind myself of even the smallest things, like taking out the trash or enjoying the foggy morning and the ocean air. I appreciate the raindrops on my head and the anticipation of a sunny day. Sometimes, I simply indulge in a big piece of chocolate pie without saying grace. I just appreciate it and recognize that these positive experiences are a result of The Secret.
Often, the things I appreciate come as delightful surprises. I do express my thanks to the Universe, sometimes aloud. What excites me the most is that I’m learning to appreciate what I have, which makes me open to receiving even more abundance. It’s truly thrilling!
At times, I like to experiment with the power of intention and try to manifest something small. I may not be very adept at it yet, but I’ve noticed that it always seems to happen. This entire philosophy, passed down by ancient masters, fills me with joy. Once again, I want to extend my gratitude to everyone who contributes to this site!
