Hi everyone,

I had promised myself that if things went according to my visualizations, I would post this story on this website. I am a Chartered Accountant. My first story concerns using The Secret to get a rank in my CA examinations, and this one concerns getting my favorite job. This is my second story here.

Since the time I cleared my final exams, I have really wanted to work in one of the Big 4 companies. I got a job from campus placements in a big company but it was in the corporate sector, not consultancy. Everyone around me was emphasizing how difficult it was to get a job in one of the Big 4, especially in taxation, which was my preferred area. No wonder I was not getting anywhere. I was not happy with my job because I knew this was not where I would like to make my career.

One day, it hit me that I was not moving anywhere. I decided to stop right where I was, contemplate, and make a list of what I really wanted. I would leave the ‘figuring out how part’ to the Universe.

The first point on my list was a job in the Big 4, in the field of taxation, with all my desired attributes, such as a great work culture, happy colleagues, a great, calm, firm but supportive boss, the remuneration I desired, etc. The timeline I listed for this job was October 13.

Three days later, my best friend, who works with one of the Big 4 firms, learned that I wanted to switch jobs and asked me to forward my CV to him. The day after I sent it, HR called me, and an interview was fixed, which is pretty unusual in itself.

I revised all the relevant tax laws and the recent amendments for the interview. I visualized going for the interview, totally knowing that I was going to get it. I went on the interview day super excited and smiling from ear to ear.

The interview went exactly as I had imagined it! It was super smooth and amazing. My interviewer actually complimented me on the level of my understanding. He said they would get back to me in a day or two.

Yesterday, I received a call from HR congratulating me on clearing the interview. She invited me to a partner round today, and guess what? It was amazing, too. After a short and sweet partner round, I was intimated that I cleared it and had been selected!

And now, hello to my awesome new job! I’m super excited.

Thank you, universe, for manifesting a job I love. Oh, and guess what my joining date is? October 13! Amazing, isn’t it? Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The big lesson I got from this experience is that it is very important to cut out my connections with physical reality to focus on the world within. So long as I am in the real world, I can’t help but observe what is happening around me, and I kind of absorb and radiate the same vibration. To calm down and release all those imprints that I really did not want to manifest in my life, it is important for me to meditate,  visualize, and maintain a vision board. Last but not least, instead of giving excuses on why it won’t happen, I feed myself some positive thoughts. I know it will happen.
