I am a high schooler who is very high achieving and has big aspirations for college and the future. One of the biggest aspects of that, for me, was getting a super high score on the SAT. Think of a perfect 1600.

During my sophomore year, I took my SAT for the first time with no studying and got a 1350 score. Very good, but not even close to my high standards. I was planning on studying and working towards my perfect score, but about a month after this score, my body went into chaos, and I was hospitalized with ulcerative colitis. I was just trying to stay alive, and I couldn’t focus on school or studying, especially not something like the SAT, which was extra on top of all the things I had to do. By the time I had actually made it back to school consistently after being in and out of the hospital with my condition, it was time for me to take my actual Junior SAT, and I was less prepared than I was taking it the year before.

This is where it gets good. After receiving my 1350 score, I read The Secret and also got The Secret Super App. I visualized and created a vision board about getting my 1600 and plugged that goal into my app. By the way, I completely forgot about this. Taking my Junior year SAT, I just said whatever because I had bigger things to worry about.

The scores came out about a month and a half later, and I got a 1540! Right out of a hospitalization, with no preparation whatsoever, I got almost a perfect score. The score is good enough to get me into any Ivy League college. After not believing in things like The Secret because of all the setbacks that were thrown at me, I visited my goals and visions and realized that it was true all along.

I’m sharing the story to let you know that no matter your circumstances, the things that you want and dream about can still happen. Set the intention and let the Universe do its thing.
