Grateful for the day-by-day inspirational calendar I was given, I decided to use the tear-off pages in whatever way the Universe prompted.

On the first day, it suggested writing down 100 things you were grateful for. I discovered that I could have written even more. The next day, I tucked the calendar page into my purse, aware that it would be useful somehow.
On my way to the check out at a local store, I noticed a notebook opened and placed on the long counter far away from the cashier. It seemed so very odd to be there. It was definitely out of place.

Glancing at the page, I saw it was dated three days into the future and thought, “What?” Then, my attention skipped to the underlined message of frustration with triple exclamation points. It seemed to be the work of a teenager’s struggle with her mother. I knew then where The Secret message had to go, so I put the slip behind the next page and continued to check out.

After exchanging greetings with the cashier, she told me of her frustration and tension with her 14 year old daughter. I listened and knew instantly whose journal had been put in my path.

I walked out of the store, aware that something truly amazing had just happened, but I couldn’t even begin to process it until a day or so later.
I still don’t quite understand, yet I have faith that I was made an instrument of peace, like in the St. Francis prayer, which I say daily. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

That moment, those circumstances, the Universe used me to transcend not only time but space with the eternal message of gratitude. The Secret message of gratefulness transcends time and space. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
