Hi everybody!

I am so excited to share this amazing story with you all. I am still in shock that my wish has actually come true. I was basically a below-average student who always wanted to score well in exams but never did. My aggregates were never more than 70%. I would always feel bad about it, as all my friends were either toppers or scored 70s and 80s, which is a pretty good score.

After 12th standard, I decided to take up the Chartered Accountancy course, which is said to be the toughest course in India. Basically, there are three levels that you have to pass to became a Chartered Accountant (henceforth, CA). I had passed the first level in the very first attempt. Then came the IPCC, the second level. IPCC exams are conducted twice a year, in May and November. I was supposed to take my exam in May as I had passed CPT in June, for which we take tuition for six months and get three months to study and revise everything on our own.

For the first two months of the nine months that I had, I was very serious about passing the exams, so I was concentrating on all the classes and studying hard. After that, I slowly lost interest as I formed a group in the class and would always chat or bunk the classes (most of the time, I bunked). Soon, the six months were gone, and I didn’t even have any notes to study for the exams in those three months. Even then, I was not worried and was still hanging out with my friends by telling them at home that the classes were still going on.

Now, the exams were just one month away, and I thought that it was high time that I started studying. But as I mentioned before, I didn’t have any notes to study from, nor did I even bother to xerox my friend’s notes. Exams were nearing, and I slowly gave up and told my parents just three days before the exams that I was not prepared and that I would write the exams in November.

Again, I had six months to prepare but wasted four months just like that. In September, two months away from the exams, I realized that I had wasted a lot of time. My friends who were also giving their exams in November started with their preparations two months back and were almost on the verge of finishing the portion. I was feeling very guilty and ended up crying for one whole week.

One day, I happened to go to my Dad’s office for some work. When I was about to leave, I saw a book lying on the floor in my Dad’s business partner’s cabin, so I picked it up to put it back on the table. It was The Secret book. I just opened the book, saw the index, put it on the table, and drove away.

While I was driving back home, I was thinking about the book. I don’t know what made me take a U-turn, I went back to the office, to my Dad’s partner’s cabin and asked him if I could borrow the book from him. Of course he gave it to me, and I was very eagerly waiting to get home so that I could start reading the book. It took me two full days to complete the book, and after reading the book, I was so excited to know that all of my wishes could come true. The next day, my mom asked me to give the book back to its owner, but he called me the same day and asked me to keep it with me and that I didn’t have to give it back to him. I was so happy. I was so much in love with the book. I thanked him a million times for giving the book to me. I read the book and re-read it again and again, and this time, I wanted to watch The Secret movie. But the DVD was a bit expensive, so I hesitated to buy it.

Then I thought to myself, “Why don’t I start using the secret to attract the DVD”? I put The Secret to practice and felt the feeling of already having it with me. At first, it was difficult, but I never gave up. I thanked the Universe for attracting the book and the DVD into my life. I even set a time limit of one week.

And guess what?!!! It was my brother’s birthday exactly a week later and one of his friends had gifted him The Secret DVD! I was so shocked and was in tears. I thanked the Universe a billion times for the DVD. My very first wish had come true. The very next day I watched the movie carefully and even recorded whatever I thought would help me visualize my dream.

Totally motivated, I decided to use The Secret to pass my exams. Since I had just one month left, I decided to write for only the first group. I focused on what I wanted and even worked hard this time. I maintained a vision board and stuck a fake marksheet and some inspirational quotes on it. I even maintained a vision diary and would write letters to the Universe every day, thanking it for passing me in my exams. I created a fake ID for the CA institute and would send emails from it to my ID, congratulating myself for passing the exams. I visited The Secret website every day to read inspirational stories and get motivated. I believed completely that I had passed. I thanked the Universe for making the question papers so easy. I became very positive and talked positive. My family was surprised to see me like that.

My exams didn’t go so well, but I still kept telling all my friends and family that it was very easy and that I would pass for sure. I blindly trusted the Universe. Even after the exams, I was still very positive. I made it a habit to visualize and write letters to the Universe and stay positive.

Three long months later, the day of the results arrived. I was a bit tense, but I tried to stay calm and thanked the Universe again and again for passing my exams. It was time for me to check my result. I just typed my roll number and shut my eyes very tight. I could hear my heart beat super fast, but I was still thanking the Universe for passing me. I slowly opened my eyes, and the first thing that I saw was dark, bold letters that said PASS! Before I even figured out what that meant, the letters PASS had brought tears to my eyes.

I had just passed one of the toughest exams in India with just one month of preparation as a below-average student. This time, I was screaming out with joy to the Universe, saying, “Thank you, thank you, thank you!” My joy knew no bounds. My parents were shocked at first but were even more happy than I was. I had typed messages and emails to all my family and friends about my result. Everyone is so happy for me.
