I’m an entrepreneur with a very successful business now. However, in late 2022, we hit a rough patch that impacted us financially. I had used my investments and savings to fund the business. So, when things got rough, needless to say, it left me unable to pay the rent. My landlord was understanding at first. But my rent stacked up and soon there were 10s of thousands of dollars of debt. It was frustrating and stressful as I was investing everything into my business to rehab it while paying smaller bills.

Then I listened to The Secret. I read that Shonda used to imagine that bills were checks. I heard from Louise Hays to focus on gratitude and what we want, so I did just that. I imagined that bills were checks. Whenever I felt stressed about rent, I simply thanked the Universe for how great it felt to pay off my debt in full. I began a gratitude journal. I felt gratitude for everything I bought and every cent in my bank account. And then the miracle happened.

My landlord called me and said, “We will make your balance zero.” He reduced my rent to 1/3 of what it was. I already live in the best area of my city, so something like this is unheard of. It is truly a miracle for a landlord to erase that much debt and still try to help me. I can’t explain how it happened, but I am thankful it did.

I’m sharing this now to show that anything can happen, the law of attraction is real, and gratitude is the key.
