I first read The Secret after my first breakup in 2020. After years of playing with different techniques, my life changed in 2024 when I learned about self-concept. I started a new job and worked on my self-concept by doing nightly affirmations, mirror work, and positive self-talk throughout the day. I was sure that the person I was meant to be with, I would meet them in person, that we would be drawn to each other’s energies, and that is precisely what happened.

The second week into my new job, I was walking around to grab a coffee, and there he was. At that moment, we knew. It was not something we worked up to or built upon. From the moment we locked eyes, we both just knew.

I knew I wanted that feeling and violins playing in both our heads. I wanted us to be 100% sure of each other from that first moment. People told me I was living in a fairytale, but it happened.

If there is one piece of advice I can give to anyone, it is to work on your self-concept and keep working on it. You deserve to meet the love of your life. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
