A few years ago I was browsing through a magazine and I saw an advertisement for a gorgeous pair of computer knitted basketball shoes. No, I am not a basketball player, but I am a designer and I did admire their aesthetics and the cutting edge technology that created those gorgeous shoes.

A month later, I flew to Las Vegas with my boss for an international shoe exhibition where we were set to exhibit our footwear in an effort to acquire new customers.

On the last evening of our exhibition, we decided to do some shopping at the strip’s elegant fashion mall. At that mall was a large sporting goods store that carried the brand I had admired a month prior.

We had a very good turnout at the exhibition and my boss announced to me proudly at the mall that he would purchase anything for me that I wanted in that store. Yes, they had “that” shoe style in my size, and back home they, and six pairs of sports socks, flew with me the next morning!

For me, this series of events represents a perfect example of ask, believe, and receive. No resistance. No doubts. No struggling. No worries. And the Universe delivers the desires of our hearts effortlessly.
