I love to sing and listen to every genre of music. I even have this karaoke app called Smule, where you can sing alone or do a duet with your friend or with some stranger.

One day, I found out about this singer, Lauvey. She is so talented, and I really love her voice. Then, I became a fan of her. I even did a duet with her on the Smule app. I loved it.

Two weeks ago, my sister asked me to attend Java Jazz gigs because her 12-year-old daughter wanted to see the gig with her friends. Java Jazz is a once-a-year big event in Indonesia for jazz lovers, and they invite local and international singers to the gigs. And guess what?! One of the international artists is Lauvey. Oh my God!!

But the ticket was so expensive that I could not afford it, so I said it was ok, and I passed. But in my heart, I said, God, I really want to go to the event and see Lauvey.

And guess what?! On the day the event was to be held, which started at 5 p.m., my sister called me at 11 a.m. to say that she had the flu and could not go to the gigs and asked me to go there with her ticket to accompany her daughter! Oh my God! Really?!!! So, of course, I told her a big yes! I could not believe it! Yes, I saw not only Lauvey but all the famous Indonesian artists that I love so much!
