I manifested a new partner before I even knew about The Secret. I got married when I was 18 and was married for seven years. I had a son during that time, but I never felt loved or appreciated, at least not in the way I felt I was giving love to my husband. I used to pray at night to find someone who would love me as much as I loved them. This went on for a couple of years because I also did not want to become a statistic and end up with a divorce. I realize now that my signals were getting crossed.

The turning point came when my son asked me why Daddy made him cry all the time. That was it for me! I packed up his things and some of mine and left. There was nothing that would change my mind. I continued to pray every day for someone who would love my son and me as much as I would love them.

One day, at a gathering for my brother who was home on leave, I met my future husband, who happened to be a friend of my brother. We have now been together for 35 years, married for 33 of those years, and our love for each other grows more every day.

When I first read The Secret, I thought, “Oh my, I was already manifesting; I just didn’t know it.” This has been such a blessing, and I use it every day.
