I’ve been using visualization for years, focusing on the positive in everything and everyone. However, I recently realized that I had lost sight of this approach, and things were not turning out well for me.
About 8 years ago, my daughter gave me a book called “The Secret,” but I didn’t really read it. It finally dawned on me to examine the results I was getting and I began to understand it better. I had set a goal so high that when I achieved it, I forgot to be grateful. Now, when things weren’t coming to fruition, I became discouraged. I even told my husband that sometimes I wished I didn’t have any dreams or goals, as my desires weren’t coming true. He reminded me that many people have goals and achieve them.
The next day, my husband and I had a craving for Chinese food and I opened a fortune cookie that said I would have great success. Another cookie said, “It is better to have a goal than have no goal at all.” We were shocked by the coincidence. I wanted another copy of “The Secret,” but my belongings are in storage. I read a story about someone who downloaded a copy of “The Secret,” and realized that I could buy it for my Kindle, and once again, things seemed to work out perfectly. I can’t wait to write again in a week and share all the wonderful things that have happened.
I want to thank Rhonda for making “The Secret” easy to understand. I feel blessed and can’t wait to go out and see all the wonderful, abundant, and brilliant things in my life.
