I experience the power of the law of attraction very frequently when I go grocery shopping or shopping for clothes. I get what I think about, and usually at discounted prices. I am a retired teacher, born in the Caribbean Island of Jamaica and I have lived in the USA for over 40 years. Lived in the states of New Jersey and New York for many years but relocated to quiet North Central Florida between 2003 and 2004. I watched The Secret years ago and have re-watched it on many occasions. I did not know that there were YouTube recordings with Ms. Rhonda Byrnes that would have helped my growth with The Secret until recently.

This morning, I went out on my regular Saturday morning jog. As I passed by a familiar couple’s yard, I noticed that there were small plants for sale. I thought, “On my way back, I will stop, and the law of attraction is going to let me have the peppermint plant that I have been seeking to purchase for 2 weeks.” I stopped on my return trip and began reading the labels on the potted plants, but there was no peppermint plant there. The house owner came from the back with a wheelbarrow that was full of more plants. He agreed with me: there were no peppermint plants.

Then, he exclaimed, “Wait right there, I have a plant that I can give you.” He returned with a feeble peppermint plant that he confessed that he had abandoned. I thanked him and promised that in the future, I would share a clipping with him when I have nurtured the peppermint plant back to health. Wow! The law of attraction is that easy. But what is happening with the large sum of money that I must have to complete my building project before December 14, I do ask? It should be just as easy.
